There was a lot going on yesterday as I logged on to Pt to comment
on DOTD. This poor pup was in the care of Indy Great Pyreenes Rescue
when she bolted from a local park & went on her adventure.Check out the
video. She looks so bewildered & sad as she sat on a raft of ice before
she was rounded up by Indy Fire & Rescue guys.

Oh my goodness. Maybe we should start putting "tissue warnings" on certain threads. I probably shouldn't have watched this here at work. It was very hard to contain my sobs. :(
I am so glad Biscuit is safe and will get the medical attention she needs. And I hope she finds the perfect home for her.
She looked like a sad Polar Bear out there on the ice. :(

Oh, poor girl! I am glad they got her back, she must have been so sad and scared, having been hit by a car and then stranded out there! Poor baby!

Poor baby had a really bad day.:( Didn't she look so glad to be in the
foster's house & resting up after she got back home.:) Just maybe this
incident will help spread the word about the Rescue group & Pyreenes
dogs in particular.:)

p.s. She did remind me of a sad Polar Bear too.

There was a small update on Biscuit this morning. She is back at the
Vet clinic for surgery on her legs. They estimate surguries will be about
$2500 dollars but have already collected $ 600.00 from people who saw
her story on the news. I do hope she recovers completely as she is only
2 yrs old.

I almost did not watch the clip because of the tisue warning
from Taz_Zoee post.
Well I watched, teard and was glad their was a happy ending.
I am sure once she has healed she will find a good home with a loving family.

What a happy ending. This poor pup must have been so scared! I agree that she looked just like a scared, sad polar bear. I am so glad she will get the much needed surgery and training and I am sure she will find a wonderful furrever home!!

Woo Hoo!! That is wonderful news!! :D :D

Looking at those pictures makes me think Taggart actually is a Great Pyrenees mixed with Aussie. The face and legs are just like Taggart.
