Well my friend has a German Shorthair Pointer, so that's what I thought it was until I saw the pic. They (shorthair/wirehair) are about the same in size/coloring though, so that was my guess. Do I do one now or something??

Ok beware I have an Encyclopedia of Dog Breeds that has about every breed you have *never* heard of lol. But I'll be nice this time, and post one that at least has a fairly easy name to pronounce. I can't post the exact same info as Floppsy, but I'll still post some info.

Height: 33-48 cm (13-19 in.)
Weight: 10-15 kg (22-33 lb.)
Color: Solid Grey, Black, White, Cream with dark eyes/pigment
Recognition: FCI
Date of Origin: 1930's

No, it is not an Irish Wolfhound. Better check the weight of the dog again, lol. Any more guesses? This is *not* an AKC breed.

Oh, uh oh, that makes it hard. I have an ACK-only book. Well, I'll keep it in my mind an try to think. Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen?? Oh yeah duh that one's an ACK dog. Dingo?? Wolf?? I don't know I am just guessing off the top of my head lol.;)

You guys gave up too easily. I've seen this dog in more then one dog breed book (ones that include more then AKC breeds). AKC breeds are too easy to guess.

It was a Hungarian Pumi.
