Me.... a mommy?

Hi guys,
I thought I’d let you know that I am going to be a mommy. I went to my first visit yesterday and found out that my baby will be born on or around 08-08-09. I hope my furbabies don’t freak out. I am a bit overwhelmed but really happy. My husband is acting like he’s won the lottery. This was a surprise but expected at the same time. I hope I will be a good mom.

you got that right!!!... my hubby flipped out whenever I said the human baby was just like a puppy.. LOL.... but hey, many things DO apply to both...

Hey, Carmen, I never thought I'd have a smidgeon of maternal instinct (I don't have kids of my own), but I raised my niece, and now I even change John's grandkids' diapers without dry heaving or running out of the room! So, I have NO doubt, you'll be an incredible mom! If I can love kids who aren't mine, so deeply, imagine having your own!

Well, I was just comparing symptoms with KBlaix.
I am a little more tired than usual and I have to pee a lot. :o
I am not having any morning sickness but some food smells are starting to bother me like eggs and tuna.
I am craving pickled stuff (I know what a cliche') like giardiniera.
I am really wanting some tootsie pops (which I can't have because of my x2diabetes). :)
Thanks for asking. I wish my mom lived in the States. She said she's flying from Italy to stay for a few months, or more, when the time gets closer.

hahaha, well, not necessarily, although david and i aren't against it. if it happens, it happens, ya know? my momma would, of course, prefer that we tie the knot first. :love:
