I wish someone else were here with me right now to take pictures of Linus and me. I'm on the loveseat with the computer in my lap. Linus is on my shoulder watching and then he'll turn and give me kisses on my nose and eye lids. He is purring so loudly in my ear. He is such a lovebug!

When I got here last night, I was watching tv on the couch and Linus was laying on me. Cooter wanted to be up there too, but he doesn't love Linus. He would hiss and growl trying to scare Linus away. Cooter has always been my big buddy.

I can't even explain the disaster of trying to sleep last night. I personally sleep better on a couch. Needless to say, that wasn't happening with the cats fighting over being with me. I figured we'd be ok in the queen bed. WRONG! My sister-in-law warned me that I might need to shut them out of the bedroom. But I love sleeping with kitties and they love sleeping with me...BUT NOT WITH EACHOTHER! We finally got to sleep around midnight. I woke up around 2am. Cooter was at my feet and Linus on my legs. Of course I had to shift and then it began all over again! An hour later I we were all still awake. Linus decided he would sleep in my armpit. Then decided that under my chin was better. THen he wanted to be right under my nose to feel me breathing. Needless to say, I wasn't having any of that!

LOL Now Linus is cleaning my hair! Oh brother. I'll have to get the camera out once he gets off of me and get some pictures of these boogers!

I KNOW WHAT THAT LIKE TRYING TO SMILE WHILE HOLDING A CAT IN ONE HAND AND LINE UP A CAMERA WITH THE OTHER.
THATS GREAT THAT YOU ARE GETTING ALONG SO WELL WITH LINUS AND TOM COOTER, AND THAT YOU ARE BONDING SO WELL!!!!:love::love:
THERES NOTHING LIKE A GOOD PET SITTER, MAYBE YOU COULD DO THAT FOR A LIVING:love::love::love:

I took Linus to the vet today. He's had a rough start to life. He's been sneezing some since I've been here. No snotty nose, just wet sneezes. I know from prior experiences, the vet isn't really concerned too much with that. But Linus' eyes still are just a bit runny, and he's had some runny poop too. I got him some pumpkin, but it hadn't helped. I may not have given it enough time though. I just decided I would take him in to get looked at and have his first set of shots if all checked out well. The vet looked him over and said his fungus is looking great and to go back to using his eye medication. He weighs 2.75 pounds now! What a porker. LOL He got his vaccinations. They are now vaccinating for a new strain of something that the vet said is running wild in TN and causing many fatalities. This added vaccination causes a majority of cats to be lethargic and feverish for a day or so. Poor Linus is just passed out next to me. No running after his paperwad tonight. Cooter isn't complaining though!
And now...PICTURES!

An hour later I we were all still awake. Linus decided he would sleep in my armpit.

LOL! :)

Those pictures are great and the look that Cooter is giving you in one of them clearly shows that he 'IS NOT AMUSED!' lol

The wet sneezing and runny eyes sounds alot like the upper respiratory virus, Herpes. A few of my cats have it and it flares up when they are stressed. When Paddy walks slowly toward Stinky with the intention of cornering her, it can set off a bout of the virus. When it does, I give them Lysine 500mg twice a day for 4 or 5 days and things really clear up. Maybe ask your vet about it. It's safe to give and might be worth a try. Though Linus might only need 1/2 a 500 cap twice a day because he is smaller. :)

Thanks for the pics, both cats are beautiful.

Well, Linus has returned to his crazy self. I got home from work and had my hair in two pigtails. I picked him up, and he went crazy attacking my hair! He's in love with the paper wad again. Except right now he is laying on my shoulder snoozing. I finally figured out why my neck hurt so badly today. Here I am laying on the couch trying to watch tv with Linus on my shoulder and partially accross my chest. We must have been in this position before because every time I move my head to the position I need it to be in to see they television, I get a sharp neck pain.
I really might have to sneak him in my purse and bring him back to my house. I don't think the kids would notice when they get back from California that Linus was gone, do you? :D
