View Full Version : FloppsyLadySally89 please rate my breed.
IF you do not mind, I thought this would be a fun
thread for you to look up in your dog encyclopedia,
and tell us each rating on our breed.
I enjoyed reading the rating on the German Shepherd Dog in another thread.
I will start off:
Breed: AKITA

American Pit Bull Terrier.
Thankyou,
I enjoyed your post very much
and glad you did not mind looking
up the ratings.
I agreed with everything but Friendliness
towards dogs.
I would have rated that more like a ** .
Thanks again so much for taking the time! :)

Ok, I looked it up, and I found out that Bull Terrier and APBTs are two different dogs. Sorry, but to make up for it, I got you a whole bunch of APBT sites!

turner
09-17-2002, 09:06 PM
ok never mind the rottweiler...found it. But need dashunds.
And the rottie one doesn't sound like Phoebe, she is very playful and very affectionate. She also gets along with other dogs. Deisel is very, very playful and very affectionate as well and he is rottie/German Shepard.
Also if I read it correct, did it say grooming for rottie rate:1. That is a bad rating and I thought and know that rotties don't need alot of grooming! Maybe I read it wrong?

Thank you FloppsyLadySally. Of course some of the ratings do not match Bob, but that is because it is a general thing about the breeds, and as we all know our dogs all have their individual quirks! But it came pretty close for Bob and very close for in the case of three other Springers I know! :)
I just want to mention the ratings, how I read them and you can tell me if I am right or not.
***** would mean, say for grooming, exercise that sort of thing, that the dog needs a lot. Whereas * or ** would mean doesn`t need much. And with *** or **** being somewhere in-between?
Once again, thankyou for the information, it is very interesting.:)
RockyRoad
09-22-2002, 11:44 AM
Yeah, you're right. I know, some of it doesn't seem like Lady either. But it is just a general thign and all dogs are different and special in their own way.
