AAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

I just hate those sticky tape CD theft protectors.

They take forever to remove and always leave a sticky residue on the CD case.
I would imagine there has got to be a better way.

I just went to Target and got 2 new releases (Nickelback and David Cook) and have been struggling for over 15 minutes to get the darned tape off so I can open the CD's to listen to them.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way.

Nail polish remover - be careful to use just a bit at a time or the plastic will be affected.

Or call the store - what do they recommend?

GOOD LUCK!:)

All you need in the world is WD40 and Duck Tape. If it dosent move and it should, use WD40. If it moves and shouldnt, use Duck Tape.

A friend of mine who is in construction told me that WD40 is great for stiffness. They use it on their hands. I decided to try it once and rubbed it on my hips because I wasn't able to sleep due to pain and it really worked! It doesn't last long, though, and I imagine that the health implications aren't the best but I did manage to get some shuteye that night.

To get it open (if there is only tape on the top) I separate take the CD case apart (see image below). You can peal the tape off much much easier that way. I then use Goo Gone (http://www.amazon.com/Magic-American-GGHS12-Gone-Spray/dp/B000ZMY2ZC/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=home-garden&qid=1227100221&sr=8-2) on any sticky left behind.

Ugh!! I hate the sticky things too. :( They are really annoying, especially when you can only get part of it off after all that time.

Its Duct Tape, not Duck Tape xD. Anyways Paint Thinner or Nail Polish Remover should work fine.
