I just came upon this request, and wondered if any PT'ers are near by and may be able to help.
I run Prayers 'n Paws Doberman Rescue, Inc. in NC. I used to have a thrift shop wherein I could easily find bedding - blankets, quilts, comforters - that could be used as bedding for the Dobes that have to be crated. I tend to take in the elder Dobes who have arthritis, aches and pains, which is the reason they were 'thrown away' in the first place. I'm down to my last 5 pieces of bedding, and searching for another source. There is a 'freecycle' group online to which I belong, and have found some pieces of bedding there - just not enough. Unfortunately, sheets and small towels don't work well, as they're not thick enough. Any old quilts, comforters, bedspreads would be most welcome. Any suggestions are welcome too! Thank you.
