Are there any sites where I can listen to music online for free?
I don't want to break down and get an ipod! I want to listen to some music while I am at work...

You can download itunes and listen to their free radio. It's a million different channels and types of music.

When I forgot my ipod or it ran out of batteries at school I used to just listen to the CMT basic radio at cmt.com. (They have a couple of different ones there) The downside is it only works on a PC.

Someone just emailed us this really cool website! You can type in any song or artist and it starts playing. I've only played with it a few times but so far, it seems really neat.

Check your local radio station web sites. A lot of them now have streaming music online for free. I listen to air1.com when I'm at home (I have no speakers on my work computer. Yes, it's THAT old :D ). I also know that all the clearchannel stations here in southern california have their music/radio shows online. :)
