Yeah, I guess I have kind of ignoring Sydney a bit, because I am still mad at my sister about what she did with my Mckinney baby. But I must accept the facts that Mckinney is in a different home, and Sydney is their new dog. Sydney's really a cutie, it's not her fault that Mckinney is gone..... Anyway, I thought I would share some pics. :)

Pretty in pink

How adorable! Sydney is so cute!

I too had a soft spot for Mckinney. I feel in love with her after you posted her pictures. She is a doll. Sorry your sister gave her away. But perhaps that is better for McKinney. She needs to be in a home where she is wanted. Syndey is not to be blamed for this.

Thanks for sharing her picture. She is a sweetie pie!

Wonderful pictures!! More! More! More! :) I just love the look on Reggie's face!!! LOL! And of course little McKinney is just precious! I had a poodle who used to lay like that with legs outstretched in the back. What a cutie!

I think it's sad your sister got rid of Mckinney, she was a beautiful dog, but maybe it is better for her to be in a home where she is wanted.

Sydney is wonderful! Show us more pics of her whenever you want to!

I have to say...this is my favorite pic:D:D:D

Amy, Sidney is adorable, she looks like Daisy when Daisy was a little puppy. I love the photos of Sidney with the other pups too, really cute. McKinney was a cutie too, what was the reason that she gave her away, if I may ask and get another dog? Just wondering.

Thanks everyone! My sister *seems* to be taking good care of her. She's got her in a puppy class and stuff. I just hope she will last longer then McKinney did. I know this sounds dumb, but I think a reason that Alisha likes Sydney better is because she is a girl. I always wondered why they got a boy dog. My sister has always been big into "girly" things, and was always dressing up her dolls, etc. I've noticed Sydney often has pink bows, etc.

Jackie, according to my sister, her "reason" for getting rid of Mckinney was because he couldn't be housetrained (I think it's my sister that can't be trained) and that he bit her daughter (um no, Mckinney was 5 months old, and just a pup who likes to bite, like many do). They gave him away 3 days after she got Sydney.

Oh well, she says he is in a good home, so I hope she is right. He wasn't really perfect for them anyway, too hyper...Sydney is rather mellow (although she has the most horrid bark! lol)

UGH, that reminds me.......I think I heard my mom talking to her on the phone about getting Sydneys ears cropped. What age do they usually do this? She's around 3 months, I think. I really think her ears look ADORABLE how they are, I really hope she won't crop them! :(

Those are really cute pictures. WHy do people crop their ears? Is is just cosmetic? or is there some sort of special purpose?

It's just cosmetic. With breeds like the Doberman, Boxer, etc. they have done it to make them look more fierce or intimidating. I prefer the look of non-cropped ears.

Poor Sydney! I hope she doesn't get her ears cropped! That is so cruel. I think cropping ears and docking tails are very unneccessary and mean practices if done for a reason other than medical.

Why ARE tails docked?? I could never understand that. What is the medical reason? And is there a medical reason for docking ears??
