I have three pumpkins but I still have to finish painting the last one so I will post pics of him later.

Love all the pumpkins. Wish I was good at carving OR painting!:p

I am sad to say, having no kids, all I ever do it buy a few pumpkins, and I NEVER carve them:(

I do decorate though! and play spooky music for the kids, while handing out candy.

I DONT dress up, but ALL of my dogs and cats get dressed up (several different outfit changes) throughout the night;)

I don't carve them either (shame on me), but I just sit them on the porch with my scarecrow man and some mums each year.

Here's one for the "what are the odds?" category:

My niece bought a pumpkin and took it to "pumpkin class" where she and my SIL were taught how to make several fancy ones. My niece placed one of them on her porch and, after an incredibly windy night and unbeknown to her, it blew off the porch into the driveway and she ran over it the next day!:eek::eek:

I tend to fixate on things much more than is healthy when I am sick. I have a bad cold today so I poured quite a bit of effort into carving these things:rolleyes: I went a little bit overboard.

'I want the green pumpkin, Mom!'

Lydia painted it all by herself, with just a tiny bit of help from me in turning the pumpkin.

I never got a chance to carve mine this year. But I'll take some pictures of the natural ones we have on our front porch, with the decor.

One year (I have pix somewhere) I had a tall pumpkin and two smaller ones and carved B O O. I was very proud of that. (yeah, I'm a dork!)

All these pumpkins look great!! :D :D

Here's ours. The teeny little one is for my son in my belly, since he's still itty-bitty. The "Kitty" one is Quinn's, and it's actually supposed to be a Q with a kitty in the middle. The other two are just quick ones I did but I didn't want to spend too much time on them. I spent quite a bit of time on Quinn's "Q kitty" pumpkin and I'm rather proud of it :)

Quinn is shown kissing the pumpkins. She's a very kissy girl and she loves her pumpkins!

Photobucket is playing tricks, so I can't upload into the message, but here's my first attempt at something beyond the traditional triangle-eyes & nose pumpkin: It's a Howling Jack-o-roo for Howl-o-ween
