Okay, first let me say that the window between the bird and Stinky has water spots all over it so please ignore that. LOL :) The reason for that is because Jimmy drinks his water in that spot and he drinks with his paw and makes an awful mess. We have to clean the window every couple of days because he is such a messy marvin.

So my husband said that he came into the room just in time to see Jimmy freak out and knock his water dish onto the carpet. He went to see what had scared him and it was this little tiny sweet bird sitting on the sill. The bird stayed there for about 10 minutes despite Stinky trying to get him through the glass. It's so funny, there is one point where she stops and looks towards me as if she's saying "this is all wrong! Why isn't this bird afraid?!?"
Here is the video: (and just below it is a photo of Stinky and her new friend taken from outside)

I'm amazed that the bird stayed with the cat being so close.

Cute video - thanks for sharing.

I'm wondering if the bird was a bit stunned. He might have flown into the window and then managed to balance himself while he recovered for the next 10 minutes. He flew off after that. I sure have never seen a wild bird sit so close to a cat before. lol Except for a cool video I once saw of a crow that befriended a young cat. They were actually pals and would wrestle and stuff. :)

Indeed. This happened sometimes at my previous house. They never died but the shock was very impressive.

Poor Stinky, this is irritating not being able to catch it, isn't it? ;)
Cute video.

Oh wow! That video made my day big time. Even though we live in the city, Groucho has a little bird buddy who comes to the window to visit from time to time. And they actually talk to each other!

LOL - that little paw just going at it, sometimes BOTH paws!

I love the underside of Stinky's paw - white with black pads to coordinate with the rest of his coat! So cute! :)
