Lacey lost 7 pounds! At the vets this evening, she weighed 75.8, down from 82.8 back in Dec.!:D I've cut back on her food and I believe having Jake to play with, in the house has helped. Layla plays with Jake outside and Lacey plays with him inside. For those of you who don't know Lacey had knee surgery on both of her back knees and that limits her running and playing, part of the reason she got too heavy. She needs to lose at least 5 more pounds, please wish her luck!:)

Congratulations, Lacey! Wish I could lose even 5 pounds...of course I won't say how many more than that I need to get rid of!! HA.....My cockapoo, Kacie, blew out both of her knees exactly 2 years apart to the day and have to have surgery both times. Having bad knees is not fun!! I'm so glad you have a livewire to keep you energized and to lose those extra pounds!

Yeah, Lacey, way to go! Losing weight is no fun and very hard to do. Good job and we will pray that you will continue to get down to the weight your vet wants you too!

Way to go Lacey girl!! Keep it up! :D
I hear ya about the putting on weight and having bad knees. It's not fun. :(
Maybe I can use Lacey as incentive for me to lose a few pounds. :) But you know what? That would mean I need Jake here to play with. ;)

Congratulations to you pretty Lacey girl! Losing weight is not fun and it is so much harder for us humans because we know how to open the pantry for ourselves at any time of the day  , and the refrigerator, and the freezer, and, and you get my point! :p With less weight to support, your kneesies will feel better. :)

Wow! Congrats! I've been battling with weight loss for the two shelties for a very long time.. and now Keeva is joining in on the battle after gaining a few pounds due to her injuries. It's tough! Well done Lacey!! :D
