This is my 1984 Alaskan Postal jeep, 1 of 250 produced. I ditched the full metal top in favor of the equaly rare CJ10 half cab top. This was my daily driver for 5 or 6 years. Its too rare to get rid of, its also right hand drive.

I got the Festiva from a co-worker for $500 with a busted winshield...a little over $2000 in parts got it running with double its stock horsepower and 50 mpg on the highway. Its running like crud now because it desperately needs a tune up :(. I feel so bad abusing my little car...Ive put more miles on it in the last 8 months than I have in the past couple of years .

Saabs are good cars, Abbygirl. Its just a pain in the butt getting parts :p

Notice the unfortunate lack of luggage rack most Cherokees have, and the dent in the front. (I, um, did that. :o) She also gets about 15mpg.
My step-dad gave her to me. He bought her new in '94.

If I could, I'd trade her for this as long as it was running!

Yeah, my Saab is a great car. My alternator went out in April I think, and they couldn't find one anywhere in town, so I ended up paying $500 to get it fixed. And as of right now, I have a blown engine seal, so my car leaks oil like a sieve (I get oil changes every 1.5-2 months instead of 3) AND horrible shocks. Both are around $500-$600 to fix, and I just don't have the money. But it hasn't given me problems otherwise... lol.

Blue, my curret ride right now is a dark gray 2007 Chevy cobalt. It has 9672 miles on it. It's running great and and no problems since new, except for some mice getting in and chewing on some vital wiring! No pics yet. Blue, I would LOVE to own my brother's totally original 1967 Shelby mustang GT 500!

2004 GMC Envoy XUV. Technically my mum's, but since she bought herself a new Saturn Aura it tends to sit in the garage.. a lot. I drive it when going out biking. It fits multiple bikes far easier than my jeep.

Speaking of bikes, and since a few of you posted yours, I ride a SyCip Diesel. Fuuuuun. :]

I like to use this when it's nice outside and I have A LOT of time to spare to get to where I want to go. Seat is super comfy, horn isn't too loud though- need to buy a louder more obnoxious one.

I really drive a schnazzy white 97 cavalier that is now missing the driver side mirror since I clipped a constuction barrel. OOPSY. *blush* It's a royal POS, but it get the job done for now. Happy to see a good share of jeeps on here. :]

Me too! Jeep is built here in Toledo and my husband works for Chrysler, so I like seeing all the Jeep Chrysler/Dodge products!

I'm not sure I have pictures on here, since we got a new hard drive, and it is too dark to go take any now...but we have a silver 2003 Chrysler min-van, a blue-green 1997 Pontiac Firebird (was my brothers) and a bright blue 2007 Dodge Nitro (also Toledo built!) My lease is up no the Nitro next June and I am really debating on what I want to do. I'd love a new Dodge Challenger or a big Dodge Truck, but we will see....

DJF, I'm glad to see the blue pill is still among the living. That car has had more lives than a cat!

Indeed it does! The check engine light is coming on when I go over 55 now...which means she needs a new O2 sensor, plugs and wires (probibly a cap and rotor too  )
She needs an oil change too now that I think about it. Sigh...

Oyster, my first car was a 96 Cherokee sport. It wasn't 4wd and someone dropped a high performance motor into it so it would go REALLY fast! I got pulled over once when a cop PACED me at 160 :o
Acording to his radar I passed him at a bit under 180...it WAS 3am on the lonliest strech of road in the tri-county area so he let me go with a "make sure you watch your tach especially since your spedomiter only goes to 85" lecture and a warning lol. He said he wouldn't have bothered to pull me over since I wasn't weaving or anything but we passed his supervisior who was hidden on the highway access road...

I drive a lot and I think it does well on milage. Don't have any numbers though. I just know it costs me less to fill up than Andy's Aztec.

Also, the Vibe and Toyota Matrix are pretty much the same car, so if you know anyone that owns the Matrix, they can share their experience. :)

Jeeps are great until you realize half your income is going to gas money.

There's a reason she's called Sectumsempra, it's a spell (from Harry Potter) that gives your enemies hundreds of bleeding gashes all over their body. I named her after the third time I ran out of gas on the road. That was partly my fault, because I spent all of my money on riding lessons and barely ever had enough gas to get to work and the barn, and partly because for a while I couldn't drive over 50 so I got lost a lot on back roads and smaller city streets that change names and turn often. I was used to the inter-states.

1996 Jeep Cherokee Sport. I refuse to part with this vehicle. Mum even offered to trade it in and buy me a newer, "better" car but I politely declined.

Haha, you have what I refer to as the "fancy version" of my car. Luggage rack and fancy red stripe!
