Looks like I might have to buy a new fish filter, as mine seems to be leaking :(

You mean me? lol Everyone comes to me for that sort of thing.. no idea why honestly :P I've cleaned the outer motor out many times & nothing has helped... Maybe I'll just strip it apart & spray it with oil & hope for the best. Not like I can make it any worse lol

There is nothing I (or anyone) can do to fix it. Its 100% sealed & it would have to be smashed to bits to open it up (the motor its self) :(

What they did was pour plastic over the whole thing, so no water or anything could get it.. Its hard plastic so I would have to smash it to get in.. if I use a torch in any random spot I could easily damage something :( This sucks

Maybe try to find a used one? Check ebay or some of those types of places.

Thats what I did all night.. most of the ones I found are only 50.00 cheaper.. not that much of a savings when its 500.00 :eek: *faints & dies*

ITS FIXED!!!!!!

SOmeone on a different board asked if I had ever cleaned the intake thingy & I said no... OMG it was JAMMED pack full of nasty stuff... So I cleaned all the tubes while I had it apart & the intake had nearly 1 cup of nasty stuff in it & I cleaned it 2 weeks ago!! That intake thingy is the culpret to all my woes with the filter.. it was allowing all that nasty stuff to build up like crazy becuase the water couldn't pass through it properly.. My filter stopper leaking too from the pressure :D She runs like new again!!!! Oh my fishies will be soo happy again... they were trying to commit suicide again this morning :(
