I was looking through one of the hundreds of catalogs I seem to get every day and saw these great t-shirts, sweatshirts, and totes by Edward Gorey. I'm not the t-shirt type but a sweatshirt for me and some for Christmas present will be on order!

I love Edward Gorey´s drawings! Being not the T-shirt or knick-nacks type, I followed a different path... BOOKS!! :) I love reading so much, I started paying special attention to books about cats and there you have one of the most beautiful, witty, enchanting poetry books:
Old Possum´s Book of Practical Cats by T.S. Eliot, illustrated by Edward Gorey of course!
So... that bag is great!! I´ll be looking now if they can ship it here!! :) Books, cats - mmm yes that´s good life!

Sirocco -- if they won't and you really want the tote bag -- let me know by PM and I can get one with my order and ship it to you.

Oh, I hadn't seen that before! Thanks for the link.
You may think me really weird (okay, weirder yet... ) but here is one of my favorite Edward Gorey limericks.
"Each night father fills me with dread
as he sits on the edge of my bed
I don't mind that he speaks
in gibbers and squeaks
but for seventeen years he's been dead"
...picture it with a 'traditional' Gorey sketch of a ghost on a bed! hee, hee, hee!!

Thanks for the link Sara. :)
Well, I have never heard of Edward Gorey and I don't even know what a "tote bag" is, but I really love that bag! It suits me perfectly :) Is it made of paper or cloth??

Ann...it is "sturdy 100% cotton canvas." Like the cloth that painters' clothes are made from.
I get it. Thanks for explaining!
