Do you think that cloning your pet cat is right or wrong? Would you clone your cat? I was just wondering what ya'll thought about cloning animals.

NO!!! I my opinion, cloning ANY living being (especially for our own selfishness) is wrong.

I'll say the same as I said in the Dog thread.
No, there are plenty of cats that need homes. It's just silly!!

Absolutely not!! In my opinion, a cat can NEVER be replaced, even not with its' clone:(! A new cat then? Yes, with a whole new personality:)

ABSOLUTLEY NOT.
THESE POOR CLONED CREATURES ALWAYS HAVE MAJOR HEALTH ISSUES AND GENERALLY LEAD SAD SHORT LIVES.
WITH ALL THE HEALTHY CATS SITTING IN CAGES , DO WE REALLY NEED TO PLAY GOD WITH THIER LIVES?????:mad:

As much as I miss my babies I would have too say NO. There are so many others that need our help and friendship.

From what I've read on the subject the clone might look exactly like your original pet, but will develop it's own personality.

Nope, I don't want a pet that is a copy on looks, it would just make me sad because it's not the original pet and never will be. I'd rather have a whole new, different looking, pet that I can learn to love for just who it is.
