I think I may have found my new saddle. It's a 17" AP saddle from Thoroughbred Saddlery in Walsall, England. (that's what they say lol) I'm looking to use it for my jumping lessons, but since I only jump 2'-2'6" I don't necessarily need a big 'ole jumping saddle. I like the idea of a slightly deeper seat, since I get put on some questionable horses.

That's the original picture I saw.

Here are a few more:

They're asking $350 + shipping. Worth it?

Thanks!

It looks nice. It is definitely made for shorter stirrups since the flaps are so far forward. I'm not sure if it's worth $350, why don't you see if you can find some reviews on horsetackreview.com. I would for you but I have to go eat dinner.

Thanks! From the review I read, it seems very good quality, and well balanced. Both the seller and the review mentioned how nice the leather was - soft, strong, 'like butter' lol.

It's the first NICE saddle that I've seen for under $400 - if I can convince my mom to let me pay her back, I think I'm going for it.

The seller mentioned some loose stitches on one of the knee rolls, but they said it wasn't major and didn't effect it's use...?

You might want to check what shipping from England will be. That could get expensive.

lol it was made in england but the seller is in NC, I think. I definitely wouldn't be buying it if it was in england - shipping is already expensive! :)
