Is anyone having a Halloween party or dressing up?
I have this orange wig with a large green hat that I wear to work that is so fun.
I have always wanted to have a Halloween party but until recently had kids to take out for Trick or Treating.
Now that they are all grown I was thinking about having a party for the adults.
Martha Stewart always has fun ideas on her website.
I don't think that I will have the time to put something
together this year with all the yard work we are doing.
Still does anyone have some fun recipes or disgusting ones?

I've been a witch for 25 years.(My hubby would tell you it's been longer.;)) I'm giving that up and I'm going to be a black cat this year. We have what they call a cakewalk where I live and I usually go to that. We have a small party following the cakewalk. I love Halloween!:D

I want to be Cindy Lou Who from the classic cartoon, but I don't know if I can pull it off in time.

Some recipe ideas are the kitty litter cake. Someone recently made it here, I think it was Jessika. Several of us have made it with great success. :)
Another is dirt cake or cupcakes. Just make regular cake or cupcakes and frost with chocolate frosting. Then crumble up chocolate graham crackers and sprinkle on top. Then get gummy worms to have coming out of the "dirt".

I've googled halloween treats or recipes and found TONS of them. Try that too.

I'm not dressing up but I'm taking Nathan trick-or-treating. He's going to be Superman. Yeah, it's common, but we just couldn't afford anything else this year.
