Soldier Hollow Sheepdog Competition + Splash Dogs <pics>

These are from about a month ago. I went to the Soldier Hollow Classic, I've wanted to go to that for a few years but kept missing it. It was really a lot of fun, I love watching dogs do what they were bred to do. :) The border collies abilities were very impressive! They also had Splash Dogs there which was fun to watch (couldn't help but think of Finn too). Here's a few pics...

What fun pictures! I've never seen herding before. The Splash Dogs photos make me wish I was on the dock, haha. I love watching the little guys jump! :)

Very interesting! Ducks? Geese? No wonder you don't see huskies herding, eh? (Not a chance those quackers would ever make it to the pen.) You got some great shots - I love the intensity of the dogs' gaze as they work. The splash dog competitions look like a lot of fun, too. Thanks for sharing these, Åmy.
