http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/games1.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/games2.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/games3.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/games4.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/games5.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/games6.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/games7.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/games8.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/games9.JPGPictures I took yesterday during the third day of the Governor's Showcase Hockey Tournament in Bowmanville.There were 37 teams from Ontario and one from Buffalo playing 19 games over three days.there scouts from U.S.Colleges and Canada there watching for players they might want to get on their teams.The first pictures are the Stouffville(pronounced Sto-ville)Spirit and the Toronto Jr.Canadiens in the pre game warmup and the first and second period faceoffs.Toronto won 4-3.Three pictures from the Orangeville Crushers-Peterborough Stars game which Orangeville won 4- 0.Picture from the Wellington Dukes-Hamilton Red Wings game which Wellington won 5-3 and the opening faceoff of Georgetown Raiders-Bowmanville Eagles game,Bowmanville is in Black.They lost to the Raiders 4-2 and lost the previous day to The Collingwood Blues 5-1.It started Friday night and went all day Saturday and Sunday,I went home both afternoons to have supper and went right back.Didn't win the 50/50 which was $184 and I tried to win a gift certificate to Boston Pizza,no luck there.It was a long three days but I really enjoyed all the hockey and would do it again.

Looks like a great time :D

funny that the Jr Canadiens are from Toronto and the Hamilton team was the Jr redwings lol.
