Tried out the lens again this weekend at the cottage. I posted a cottage picture thread before, but here are more pics from this weekend. :)

I've been using a new lens for my camera and I'm starting to get the hang of it. I was practicing on a few insects....

This little one was the size of a piece of rice! It was really hard trying to get it in focus because it was moving so much!

This bee wouldn't stay still! But, finally I got a reasonable pic focusing on its eyes.

A flower pic from this weekend. Even though the flower is long past its bloom, it still looks quite nice with its bronze petals...

You've such an innate talent for photography!! I know you enjoy it, but its an added bonus that you are so truly gifted in it as well. Those close up pictures of the bees that are so quick and NEVER sit still are just...whoa! AMAZING, Kass!!!

From the pic with Steve and Gigi the cottage is looking fantastic! I love that large window they're looking out of. Just beautiful!

Thanks for being my biggest fan, Kelly. :) I haven't had much time for photography lately, so I'm still experimenting.

I do enjoy it, but my patience sometimes wears thin. The bees are the perfect example. I had to sit there forever just to get one or two shots. They don't like to sit still for long so they tried my patience! ;)
