Boomer is napping with Tyler in his room right now so he has not met our new little addition yet. He is approximately 6 months old and his name at the shelter was "Stash" but we will be changing that. He picked Tyler as soon as we entered the cat habitat and followed him around the entire house.:D
He is sweet as sugar and very lovable. His temperament should be just right for Boomer so we are hopeful that the introductions will go smoothly. :D:D:D:love:

We have a name!!!
My husband is not much of a cat person (or so he claims), and since I have turned him into a multiple cat owner, I let him pick out the name. He chose to continue his University of Oklahoma tradition and name him Sooner!! Now we have Boomer and Sooner... the OU fight song:rolleyes:

Boomer and Sooner met briefly (oops, forgot to close the door!!) and Boomer was not impressed with him. He hissed and growled and then ran away to hide under Tyler's bed.
We let Sooner explore while Boomer was napping with Tyler and he has claimed our room as his own. This shouldn't bother Boomer because he never goes there anyway. If Sooner were to attempt to go into Tyler's room I think fur would fly!

Right not Boomer is happily settled on Tyler's pillow and Sooner is happily settled in our room on a pair of my husband's pants:D
