I haven't posted in a while - just wanted to see how everyone was doing! Here are some new pictures of my gang, from our trip to the beach last month.

Most of these were taken on one of our first days there, right before and at sunset.

We were all outside just waiting for the sunset, enjoying a nice day. The dogs all love to spend time walking around the yard and down the dock. Here's Nova just enjoying it all.

Nova's ears flying!

Mandy runs and plays just as hard as the Labs do. I swear you would never know she is 10.5 years old!

Novey hanging out

My sweet girl. I almost think she enjoys being out there more than the other three, but I think maybe she just takes it all in a little bit better.

I love this one

My dad was checking to see if we had caught any crabs. The dogs of course have to inspect it themselves! Mandy and Nova are a little too comfortable with the crabs ... Mandy's actually been pinched before! We are more aware now of them getting their faces close to them!

"Why are you throwing them back in?!"
http://southernmutt.com/photos/2008bay-dogs/IMG_5428.jpg

These two were taken early one morning, right before sunrise and while my dad and I were getting ready to head out to fish.

These two were taken towards the end of our trip. I spotted a school of dolphin right off of our dock, so I took my camera outside and sat at the end and watched them. A bit later on my parents came outside to talk to our neighbor and Buck came out with them. In these photos, the people two houses down were heading out for a boat ride and Buck was watching everything they were doing.
I have to link these also, sorry:

And here's one more of Nova from sunset one night:

That's all of them. I hope everyone is doing well!

Hello! Nice to see you around again. Great pictures!! :D

If I recall correctly, didn't Mandy not get along very well with one of the other dogs? It looks like they are all getting along great in these pictures. :)

I love the picture of the three of them sitting and smiling for the camera...I love the way all of their ears are going in different directions.

Thank you so much everyone :)

If I recall correctly, didn't Mandy not get along very well with one of the other dogs? It looks like they are all getting along great in these pictures. :)They both want to be alpha, so we have issues sometimes. We have to be careful of them getting close together, and they cannot share toys. They tolerate each other for the most part, but sometimes they do want to play (we don't allow it though because it leads to fights over toys, dominance, etc.). We would let them outside together at the bay as long as they were done playing and were just wandering around, because it was easy to keep them apart from each other. We had to let them each out separately with Nova and Buck to tire them out first, though. But we never let them out together at our house because of the way our yard is configured and we keep them separate inside as well. They see each other freely and have no issues with the other being there at all but we don't let them touch.

Hi Sarah and Crew!!!! It's so great to see and that gorgeous group again!! I didn't think they could look any better but they do. Buck has filled out so much, I wouldn't recognize him without you telling me it's him. Fabulous pictures!! Stay close to us.:D

Thanks so much! I guess Buck probably has filled out since I last posted pictures. He's 2 1/2 now, hard to imagine he'll be three in January

AWesome photos, as always. Do you know of a bulk watermarking program? I like your watermark, by the way, but I'm just looking for one that can mark hundreds at once instead of having to merge a mark on images one at a time. ;)

Buck really has grown into quite a handsome young man! :) I can't believe it's been three years! Have you done any dock jumping this year?

Thanks Kari :) I add on my watermarks myself, so I'm not sure. I only do it on the ones I'm posting to the web for viewing on forums and such, though. For my clients, I have a smugmug account and I select the option to have them watermark the images. They aren't watermarked when printed, of course, but it prevents people from stealing the images online. Smugmug does it automatically when you upload a photo but saves the original for printing also.

We haven't been able to do any dock jumping in a long time, or any of anything really. Since I started college last year I've been so busy, because I took four semesters in a row (two summer) without any break, so I didn't have much free time. Next summer I am taking off, if all goes as planned, and I hope that will be the time that I can get back into training my dogs for competitions again.

Yeah, she has lost weight, and even another pound or two since these photos were taken. She finally has a waist. She's looking great but I'd like to get just another pound or so off to relieve any pressure on her joints as she gets older. If I can get that off of her I think she'd be at a great weight.

Thank you for the info. I've heard of smugmug, I'll have to check them out. Especially if they watermark. Karen was telling me that Photoshop has that option, but when I went into my application, the help info said I had to buy digimarc. So, I sorta had to give up on that. But, my boyfriend's sister found a site that gave step by step directions to use it on Photoshop and they didn't say anything about Digimarc, so I'm going to try that out this weekend. If it doesn't work, I'll use smugmug for the dock dogs images I take.

Wow, you were busy. That's good, though. Maybe we'll see you out and about next summer! :)

Yeah, I have heard of photoshop having something and I think my mom might have used it at one point, but I never have. I hope you can get it figured it out :)
