Ok here is the new name that breed. Now wait don't leave just yet! If you came in here thinking it was the popular Breed all about it on animal plant, sorry to disapoint you. But you are personally invited to stick around and play the game with us! Come on its alot of fun! Why not? What can it hurt? And if you don't want to post a breed when you win then you can pass it on to someone else! Or if you think your not good a guessing breeds its easy just go to the AKC offical site and most of the breeds will be in there! So just join in and start playing!

Thanks alot!

American breed of dog - fairly unusual. Coat can be in several different colors. Think water dog...

Absolutely right! :D :D :D :D

It's a wonderful breed of dog. Very loving and protective - rolled into one dog. Since Dick and I met, we've had five of them together and he's raised them since he was a kid.

OK, it's your turn! Name that Breed!

I haven't really been reading this thread, I just looked at that last doggy pic. Definitely a "swiss" dog. My brother went to Switzerland, he said a lot of the dog breeds there have that type of coloring. I LOVE Bernese Mountain dogs! :D

It is true that the Entelbucher is a Swiss dog:

The Entlebucher (Entlebuch Mountain Dog/Entlebucher Cattle Dog) is the smallest of the four Swiss
Sennenhund breeds. The crossing of the Roman Mastiffs with the local Swiss working dogs during the
time of the Roman invasion of Europe resulted in the Sennenhunds: the Greater Swiss Mountain Dog,
Appenzeller, Entlebucher and Bernese Mountain Dog. It is generally accepted that the Greater Swiss
Mountain Dog was the first of these breeds, and the other three developed from it. The Entlebucher was
primarily used by Alpine herdsmen to drive cattle.

The Entlebucher was recognized by the United Kennel Club on January 1, 1993.

From the ukc page (http://www.ukcdogs.com/GuardianDogs/Entlebucher.std.htm)
