So this morning I spent $150 on a Canon A470 camera. Downloaded the software- No camera detected. Troubleshooting- No camera detected. Uninstall and reinstall- No camera detected. No problem, I'll bring the picture card to walgreens and get them right away. The pictures were gorgeous. Go home to scan them, scanner isn't working. I'm ready to cry at this point. Back to the store to buy a new $20 camera. Pictures aren't great but its all you're getting after a week's salary and a day wasted.

Here's Naeli. Does she look anything other than Malinois to you? I think maybe 1% greyhound because of her flyaway ears and giant feets. She's 25" at the withers and I don't know her weight because I don't have her paperwork yet.

We went to the dog park today and she played and played as if she were a puppy again. Of course you won't see those pictures until one of you comes over and gives my computer its what-fors.

Oh, here's my other aunt's new puppy, Lexi. She's been hanging around my photobucket a few days now. http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f244/bbflygirl/lexi.jpg

EDIT: Gah!! Why did some pictures resize!!? Hmm, not so bad I guess when they're big. For anybody who can't afford a digital camera, go for the $20 cheapies. Less headache.

Malinois or mix, Naeli is very sweet in appearance! And your aunt's Lexi is adorable, aw. Is she a BC or Australian Cattle dog? I can't see enough of her to be sure.

I sympathize, when the technical stuff acts up, it is enough to make me chew nails, tear out my hair and SCREAM! ;)

She's beautiful! I think Greyhound and Malinois are both possibilities!

I definitely see Mal in her.. If it weren't for the ears, she could pass as a purebred. She's beautiful! :)

Naeli is gorgeous!
So... she is a keeper for sure? :D

Whatever breed or breeds she is, she is absolutely beautiful!

What a pretty girl!! Is her name pronounced Nelly? Lexi is a sweetheart too. She looks like an Aussie but I think I see a tail. :)

Sorry you had such a bad day.:(

Thanks everybody. Yes she's a keeper. She fits right in. She even pulled a Wallace and peed in the living room yesterday  . My bad for not letting her out right when we got home. Good thing we're loaded with chemicals to clean up pee.

Her name is pronounced Nay-lee, almost like you're saying naily if you said it faster. I don't know who came up with that name.

Lexi is a mini australian shepherd, tail-free by birth. No need to coment on the "miniature" part, my aunt didn't go to a puppy mill or byb, she got her from a family who already had her and their kid got leukemia so they needed to rehome her. She's 22 pounds and fully grown and she actually doesn't look like she was mixed with anything to make her smaller.

I am sorry to hear about your technical difficulties. I hope you can get it straightened out. Those are the days when I say, "why can't anything be easy?" But I am very happy to see the pictures you did get. Naeli really does look like a very sweet girl. And Lexi is gorgeous!

I can see Mal too.... so cute... glad she´s staying....

to me her name is like Nayeli (pretty common human girl name here)... but the Na part being a lil softer....

I've had that 'camera not detected' problem when I had the Canon A40 and I could never solve it either. I got around the problem by just using a USB card reader and not trying to hook up the camera directly to the computer.

You can pick up a 6 in 1 USB card reader at Staples for about $20

Incidentally my newer cameras don't seem to have the 'camera not detected' error.

Thanks :) The card reader is certainly worth a try.
