We're just having a partial lunar eclipse here (80%) and I just tried to make a photo of it.

Thought I'd share it with you. :)

Great pix, as usual, Kirsten! This is the second eclipse in two weeks. For all of my friends who have a passing interest in astrology, my astrologer friend told me to "expect the unexpected over the next 3-6 months". Yay. ;) She said that self expression will be very important but to be sure to express ourselves in a positive way. Children and affairs of the heart will come to the fore for all of us. We must also check our egos and we will be tested on the balance between giving love and receiving love. Hmmm, lots to think about.

Thanks! :)

Yes, there was a solar eclipse two weeks ago, but I missed that one (was rainy anyway).

This one's almost over now btw. It's been interesting to watch, but now it's time for me to go to bed. It's almost midnight!

Kirsten, your photos are stunning as usual.
Even my husband liked these! That's a huge compliment from him... :) (I can't get him to look at pet related ones very often LOL)

Thank you! :)

Well, I just used both my optical and digital zoom to the max, and the meassuring field has to be set to "spot", otherwise it's not working. Should have probably better used a tripod to get a clearer result.

The real pros make better ones with their special lenses. :p
