How cute...proving once again there are three sides to every story...his, hers and the truth!

Now if that crying kitty doesn't just break your heart....!!

I confess to having tried many dishes but I draw the line at Beetle, Bird, and/or Lizzard a' la back porch dirt!

That is one of my favorite comic strips. :) I can totally relate, but the poor kitty is crying...awww...poor thing. She was just trying to please her mom. She looks so proud in that first picture.....poor thing..... :D

Oh this is heartbreaking!! That poor little kitty. Is that what Bagel thinks when I refuse her offers of frogs, field mice and moths? Cruel, cruel Mummy  :o  LOL.

heehee that's how I feel sometimes. Corkscrew brought me a lizzard once, I went "ewww" and then tossed it outside.

are there any MUTTS fans out there?

Mutts is a daily comic strip that Patrick McDonnell draws for King Features.

It is a hoot!

It's two main characters are Earl the Dog and Mooch the Cat-but if it walks, flies or crawls it will show up in the strip sooner or later!

you can find the strip by going to the King Features web site and looking for 'MUTTS'......you'll never look at your animals the same
way again!

p.s. there are compliation books that are available in bookstores.....

The strip is called "Rose Is Rose" and I love it, too. (Also enjoy Mutts, and am absolutely wild about "Cats With Hands" -- hmm, I'm a cat cartoon junkie, it sounds like. ;) )

Great idea, Phred.

Here is Cats With Hands (http://www.ucomics.com/catswithhands/index.phtml) link.

The 2 or 3 September one reminded me of Boots and I tried desperaely to post it in your Boots Health thread, but couldn't get the size right. Enjoy!

I couldn't get the pic, koxka, but is this the one you mean? click here (http://www.ucomics.com/catswithhands/2002/06/03/) If it is I can see how you thought of Boots. :D

I also came across one that has two cats sitting there with the saying "Friends don't let friends groom themselves." I thought that was cute too after all the pictures of Noah & Basil and Corky & Tibby. :)

Regarding the cat strip with the blinds torn to shreds...how totally true! I had WOOD SHUTTERS installed to prevent this mishap...expensive, but at least I don't wake at 2 am to the sound of Tex clanking away because he couldn't see outside. It is 2 am..and dark, just what did he need to look for anyhow? Or like a circus show...seeing just the head of a cat, or half his body, caught in the blinds! LOL. Tex would push down on the blind, walk halfway though the hole he created, and stare out the window- with his less attractive half still in the room!
