So I haven't posted new pictures of the puppies for a couple weeks.... I don't remember if I ever posted 7 wk old pictures of them or not. Well they are 9 wks old now!! I don't have updated pictures of everyone, but I have a couple pics of the smooth tri boy (Bryce) and the Smooth Blue Boy #1 (Ronan)...

The female pup left to her knew home this past weekend.... the rough boy is sold, but won't be leaving for a couple more weeks.... he'll be going to a show home in Kentucky... I THOUGHT Ronan was going to a show home in IN, but the lady flaked out on the agreement..... well she didnt' like the terms on my agreement/contract, which is fine by me as now he MIGHT be going to live with a breeder friend of mine in Nova Scotia where she'll show him for me up there....

Anyway.. I don't think I posted the 7 1/2 wk old pics so I'll post some of them now..... but the main reason I and posting this message... I need NAME HELP!!! LOL

Bryce and Ronan need good registered names. After talking to some friend of mine, trying to come up with registered names for these 2 boys, I have decided to go with an old wild west outlaw theme....lol

If not the outlaw theme a "bad" theme LOL Like we thought of something like "Bad Moon Rising" etc...etc...

as far as the outlaw theme we thought up stuff like "Gunslinger" "Desperado" "Doolin'-Dalton" and "Blue Vaquero".. obviously that one would be for Ronan LOL Another suggestion I got for Ronan was "Gunpowder N Lead"..... anyway I thought I'd see what other creative ideas people here at PT could come up with.....

The "Bad" or "Outlaw" theme really does seem to fit, especially Bryce!! He is a CRAZY little thing... what a handful he is already at 9 wks of age! He is afraid of NOTHING and up to do anything! Once he is a bit older he'll be going up to Flyball practice with me... he LOVES toys and LOVES to tug... so we'll see how that goes..

Thanks everyone! They are getting very large!! LOL and eating A LOT! LOL But still lots of fun.... they have a fenced area outside that I can walk out to from the backdoor, but everytime I open the slider door they come running trying to get inside.. if they do get it, they run threw the house like wild things, usually running to go see Paris.... and she wants NOTHING to do with them...lol She isn't big on puppies LOL Its pretty entertaining though...

Of course they are inside at night, in crates now... but outside as much as possible, if the weather is good because they really hate to be inside for very long!! LOL I had them out loose in the front yard yesterday and the neighbors cat came over and the pups LOVED the cat! LOL poor cat...lol

Yes.... Spiritwind will be at the beginning of their name... if you can come up with anything along those theme ideas for the female, the lady that got the female is considering using that theme for Nexus as well....lol

I really am HORRIBLE at coming up with good names LOL

So where is that wedding at? I would just love to see these pups. But I am sure you probably don't have much free time if you are coming for a wedding. As for names, good luck!

Thanks everyone!.. I think they are beautiful!

The_Duck I kinda like "High Noon" ... actually I believe AKC now allows 36 spaces for names??? So that would fit..

I'll be going to SE Ohio. The wedding is in Lancaster, OH (Fairfield Co.)...which is oh, about 40 minutes south east of Columbus, OH down route 33. But the pups will be at my moms house in Logan (Hocking Co.)...which is another 20 minutes below Lancaster down 33.

Paris is going with me... because she doesn't do well being in a "kennel"... actually she is down right horrible if left in a kennel run LOL so she is coming with me so she doesn't act stupid and hurt herself... plus my mom then has Ben (smooth collie) and Pete (rough tri collie) that live with her... Ben being the sire of these puppies..

Oh, that is quite a little drive from Findlay! Guess we won't be seeing any pups this trip. You should bring some of your dogs - like Paris to one of the Pet Talk Meetings in Findlay sometime. Now that we have meet Robin's pup we would love meeting more of your group. I love the area your mom lives in - we used to go with the Youth Group from our church to Hocking Hills every year and with Amy and Christy being 6 years apart in age that was for a while!

Yeah.. hopefully sometime I'll be able to get up to the findlay meeting. Have always wanted to come!!... I live 6 hrs from Logan now, not sure how far Findlay is from Logan.. I've been up that way several times, so a few hours I'm sure... but maybe someday!..

I'm glad you all got to see Robin's Zack! Zack is the grandsire of these puppies... and is Paris' sire.. actually he is behind every dog I currently own lol either sire or grandsire...

Oh I love it in the Hocking Hills area as well! I used to go hiking (and on occasion camping) with the dogs in the parks in that area.... Old Man's Cave, Cedar Falls, Ash Cave, Cantwell Cliffs, Rock House, Rock Bridge.... awesome places!! and all very very close to where my mom lives (and I used to live!)....

Here are some hiking pics at different parks in the Hocking Hills.. taken atleast 4 yrs ago... While I do love it down here in NC.. I think the state parks where I used to go hiking is what I miss...LOL I really do need to find some places like that around here to take the dogs hiking... you'd think by now I'd have done it LOL

I think I've known you and your dogs for too long. You know I don't like smooths all that much, but since about 4 weeks of age I haven't been able to take my eyes away from Bryce. I LOVE him. I'm glad he's staying with you so that I can see him grow up. :D

LOL thanks Shelteez!! Those smooths tend to grow on you don't they?? I never used to care for them all that much either.... but now I LOVE them!! Love the look... love their temperament..... and Bryce is absolutely staying here!!

He has been my pick since birth!! BUT he is already such a handful at just 9 wks of age!! He really is starting to remind me of his grandsire, Zack a little bit, as far as temperament and personality goes.... VERY full of himself, and VERY smart!! Sometimes to smart! lol He's gonna be a fun puppy!! lol
