I went to PetsMart to pickup up dog chow & cans of cat food & met
a real sweetheart of of pup named Odie.:D I don't have a picture to show (Edited: Small picture in 2nd link)
here but I wanted to tell you about him anyway.

They host Dog Rescue Groups on the weekends & this is the 2nd time I've
seen this same lady with the dogs & introduced myself & found out what
group she was with, etc. This is the group http://www.birdfrenzy.us/

This is Odie's adoption page. http://www.1-800-save-a-pet.com/cgi-bin/public/petsearch.cgi/pet_details?pet_id=1510053&do_count=1

He is one big adorable puppy. 8 mos old, housetrained, neutered and
purebred (if that really matters). He has the cutest grey, curly hair and
adorable wiskers.:) They include his story from his former foster lady.

Odie is a a adorable little pup in a" big" body. (big, as in tall):)

He is a cutie. :) And it sounds like he is very adaptable to any situation. It's a shame he hasn't found a forever home, yet.

So how would Maggie and Smokey feel about having a little brother around? ;)

Honestly the picture of Odie doesn't begin to do him justice. He is
beautiful.:) Looks like a big, goofy puppy & gets along great with other dogs.
If I were 10yrs younger, I'd take him in a heartbeat. No getting around it,
I'm not getting any younger & I don't want my dogs to outlive me & have
to be re-homed. If only.....:(

At 8mos, he's still young & will make someone a wonderful companion.:)

I could tell from some of the other pictures that he definitely had airedale in him - that is just the way Jack looks when he is ready for a trim. I have heard of all black airedales but have never seen one. Are they sure he is all airedale? Not that it matters. I cannot take in another dog, I cannot take in another dog, I cannot take in another dog.....

Diana, I thought of you & Jack the minute I saw this pup.:) At first glance
I thought he might be Irish Woldhound, but the lady assured me he was all
Airdale.:) Whatever he is, he is adorable. Seems to be the kind of happy-
go-lucky type pup that would be fun to have.:) Gosh, if I can't have him,
I sure wish someone from close by could adopt this sweetie.

p.s. I'm pretty sure I can get a better picture of Odie if you can think of someone who might take him. Thanks.
