I have had several stray cats in my yard this spring & summer, but one has sort of captured my heart. I call him Bob - he is a long haired orange big baby. I keep putting food out for him, but he doesn't trust me enough yet to let me get too close to him. I'm hoping he eventually will and than I'll take him to the vet. But I have been letting 2 of my cats, Maggie & Farmboy out, and Bob & Maggie act like they know each other. Sounds silly, but it just dawned on me a few days ago that they could be from the same litter. Bob has actually been around the neighborhood for at least a year, but until lately I thought he belonged to one of my neighbors - so I wasn't too worried about him. Maggie was a stray kitten when I got her. She had been hanging around at one of my neighbor's houses. What do you think - is it possible that Maggie & Bob could be brother & sister?

THAT COULD WELL BE, IF THETY ARE ABOUT THE SAME AGE AND HAVE THE SAME FEATURES,
I KNOW HOW FRYUSTRATING THAT CAN BE WANTING TO HELP A CAT THATS TOO SCARED TO TRUST YOU, I AM STILL TRYING TO CONVINCE POUNCER ROCCALNO, AND SCRAPPITO TO COME IN.
I PRAY THAT YOU HAVE THE LUCK WITH BOB, THAT I HAVE HAD WITH SCRAPPY 2:love:, AND TUBSTER PANTHER.

I definitely think it is very possible. The perception and insight animals have is awesome. If only someone knew how to find out for sure!

Did I say that Maggie & Stray Bob are both orange cats? Maggie is short haired and has white under her chin and one orange front leg and one white front leg. She looks like she is wearing a long white glove - sometimes I call her Princess Diana because she is so dainty. Bob is long haired. I have had a black & white stray cat in my yard also. If Maggie is outdooors she chases the black & white cat out of the yard, but never bothers Bob.

nancys - here is a quote from a thread by lvpets2002:

So far the story I am getting is this lady said she found the kitten running in the Walmart parking lot in & out from under cars.. My clinic said this lady said only that & put the kitten on the counter & left.. They said she didnt ask if they could take the baby in or give them her name.. They said the lady left as fast as she came in the door with the baby.. Now our Walmart is not that far from where I got Scrapster Spanks from.. So who knows.. Your guess is as good as mine..

When Helene first got Scrapster, he was 8 days old, and found near the Walmart mentioned above. Weeks later, the above happened, and Helene brought little Nikita Dawn home. Here are pics of the two of them:

So - it certainly has happened before! I bet your Maggie and Stray Bob are littermates too!:)

It could be possible you never know.

Good luck on getting Bob. I hope he comes around.
