15, but plenty of ferals outside:eek:

Someone with more then me! LOL Im mom to 6.

Missy is my oldest, she is 12. My grandparents got her from a shelter on the day she was going to be put down. She was 8 months and her former owner didnt want her anymore.. Unfortunately my grandparents have both passed on, so shes with me now :) She does real well for someone whos had 4 owners.

Everyone else were strays I took in.

Mommy was a stray I was feeding who had her back leg broke by a male cat. The leg came out of the socket and fused to the hip bone, apparently it caused complications with delivering kittens because I got a knock at the door one day and my neighbor tells me there is blood all over my steps. I followed the trail to her, in the corner of my porch lifeless. We rushed her to the vet and they had her for about 5 days, a kitten had died inside of her and for some reason she couldnt pass it. She was pretty feral and I remember the vet called and said "I think she feels better because she is attacking everyone who walks by her cage" After all that, I couldnt put her back outside to live, so she stayed....She adjusted very nicely to living inside and is actually my best behaved....She is 7 now.

Idaho (born in an Idaho potatoes box) was born to one of my strays and I found her at 4 weeks old, her eyes and nose sealed shut with green pus. I scooped her up and ran her to the vet, and she was on antibiotics for about 6 months. The lens inside the eye was so swollen it took weeks before we actually got to see her eyes. We thought she'd actually end up being blind, but shes fine. She stayed too, after all that I was attached to her. She is a pit bull in a cats body LOL She is 5.

Yoda was the first kitten I took in. She is HUGE. 15 pounds, long haired and has too many toes. She is 6.

http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g156/HomeDepotGurl/IMG_1077.jpg

Irwin is my little guy with all the urinary problems, hes also Mommys son.

Then there is Moglie. Hes 10 weeks...

http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g156/HomeDepotGurl/IMG_0880-1.jpg

I found him in June crying in my yard when he got tangled in my fence. I had him about 10 days before his hair started to fall out and we discovered he had ringworm. That was fun! That made finding him a home much more harder. Of course he was kept away from everyone anyway. Hes doing well now, his hair is all grown back in, but will be on Sporonox a few more weeks. His latest culture as of now is still negative.

Everyone else is neutered/spayed and of course everyone passes a clean bill of health before being allowed in with the "general population"

Im maxed out, Ive just never learned how to say no to sick animals.

Hi Justine, and welcome!

I have 3 -- Einstein (age 6), Zorro (age 7) and Megan (age 8).

I'm relatively new here as well, so haven't figured out the way to attach a signature with photos -- so I'll probably post with some separate ones later.

But they're really cute...!

Oh my goodness, your cats are adorable, especially the calico Yoda, but then, I'm partial to calicos. I have one, too, Puddy, and she's my special one. I also have a Yoda, a tortie mix. Then there's a blackie who looks like a panther who's named Boo, a Maine Coone mix Pigeon and another Maine Coone, Specs. I also have a gorgeous Siamese named Coco Puff and an orangie girl, Creamsicle, who's deaf. I had a tuxie named Peeka (Boo's sister) when I first joined PT but she went to the bridge a little over 3 years ago. Like you, I could never turn away anything w/fur or feathers but after 15 years I finally got out of cat rescue and am now settled in w/my Fur Posse of 7.

From l. to r. they are: (sorry, Photobucket gives me too much grief) (Two more in next post)
Coco Puff, Puddy, Yoda, Pigeon and Creamsicle.

Well, for some reason, my computer isn't cooperating w/loading the other pix but you get the drift. I've got a lot of cats. LOL Thanx again for sharing pix of yours and hope to see more of them.

Your kitties are gorgeous!!!

I have two feline friends living with me, my most beloved tabby girls Luna (8 years) and Lily (5 years). Also in my siggy are my RB kitties Aysche (1984-1986) and Katz (1986-2000). Sometimes I also post about my parents' cats, Dino and Peggy.

Here's Luna! She's the one with struvite crystals and chronic UTI, she often pees outside her litter box, but I love her dearly!

And this is Lily, the sunshine of the house. She's never in a bad mood, always happy, inquisitive and friendly!

Hi and welcome to Pet Talk! I have 8, all in my signature. They are Smokey (14 years), Tucker (24 years), Mystic (9 years), Abner, (7 years), Gracie and her brother Dude (3 years), Vegas (3 years) and Scarlet (3 years). They were all rescues. Gracie and Dude were rescued by a member here on Pet Talk and I adopted them from her. They are both special needs due to their blindness.

I've brought 2 kitties to my home, Morgan, who is 10, and Aroara, who will be turning 2 in August. I have 4 kitties that live in the front of my house that all arrived as kittens 7 years ago this month. They are Higgins, Jane, Sydney and Lemon. At the moment I have 2 kitties in the back of my house, Juliet and Jose. All have been fixed and get their vaccinations. Right now I have a new kitty coming to the back porch for breakfast and dinner that I haven't been able to capture and get to the vet yet. His name is Gary.

Hi and welcome to PT!!! That little Moglie is adorable and yes, I know how much "fun" ringworm can be. My Jazz had it as a kitten when we brought her home from the shelter - along with a URI, tapeworms and fleas.

I love how Idaho got her name.

I have 7 cats. When I joined her five years ago I was just introducing number 3. This place has a way of making your fur count rise, LOL!

This is the picture I made for the PT Christmas Card Swap last year. It's the easiest way to show you all my cats at once. From the top right to left there is Rocky (he and his sister Rumor be 4 this weekend), Decker (he and his sister Moxie will be 2 in a month), Scout my little orangie who's around 6 years old, in the middle is Ripley who is 16 years old, bottom right is Moxie, Jazz who is 6 and Rumor.

I started feeding 3 kittens in June of 2001, and by the following year I had 23 stray cats. Mommy and daughter gave birth at the same time, it was nuts. It took me a while but I got them all off the street. My best friend took 2, she also has Yoda's sister. My mom took 3 in, and then other family members too. One litter of kittens my local vet took and found them homes. They were all long haired, so cute. It used to be a running joke, if anyone wanted a cat theyd call me LOL I used to have friends of friends I didnt even know call looking for a cat.

I wish I could get a picture of all my guys together like yours! Unfortunately all hell would break loose heehee.

I also have 2 Labs....Dale is 6 and Molly is 10 months.

Welcome Justine! Make sure to add your adorable kitties to this thread: http://petoftheday.com/talk/showthread.php?t=74595

I'm currently owned by 5 cats. Halo, Cammie, Pepper, Willow and Willy were all adopted after we lost 17-yr old Kuhio. But, I can't bring myself to remove her from my signature. She'll always be my baby.

LOOOVE that Mr Meow! Justine, if you click on Cat General, click on "Search this Forum", and type in Mr Meow, you will have his story. Some of it is in Cat Health.

He had a LOONG road to recovery...but he made it, and is very special in many PTr's hearts.

Also cheered on were BraveHeart - who rallied enough to enjoy pizza and being loved - but sadly passed on, and the dear Siamese Tuvok who, after all Jen's hard work, became her HUBBY'S kitty! Alas, Tuvok went to the Bridge to wait for BraveHeart. BH is in Jen's siggy. She has gone way above and beyond for all her cats and fosters...she will do everything until there is absolutely nothing left to be done.

Sorry to ramble - just that Jen and our other fur fosters on here are real heroes. My story, and I'm stickin' to it! ;):D:love:

I have five pets total (since you introduced your labs, I'll introduce my Shih Tzu's)...
They're all in my signature, but this is my favorite photo collage of them all.
http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c263/Crystal_1972/Pets/Animation5.gif

Scooter Bug is going to be 13 in September. He is my special  kitty. Love him more than anything, even my hubby most times. Shh, don't tell hubby that.

Charlie came from a shelter. They found him out in the desert, had to tame him enough to catch him. He's still semi-feral. I'm the only one he lets hold him. He meows all the time, so we call him Mr. Meowy a lot. He's only about 5.

Jingle Belle - she has a story too. We found her 3 days before Christmas last year. Hubby brought her into the house and then asked me, "What do we do with her?" Well, obviously now that she's in the house, take her to the vet. My best friend and her daughter helped me name her via the phone - they live in Texas and I'm in Arizona. But looking at photos online we got her a pretty name!

Jadie came to live with us December 29, 2003. She was just over 2 years old at the time. Someone at work was getting rid of her, moving to a new house... so instead of her going to a pound, I paid them $150 and said I wanted her. She's the sweetest little girl. She will be 7 in November.

Oreo has been with us since May 4, 2007. He was a "rescue" or sorts. Hubby worked with his owners and they said if we didn't want him they were going to dump him. He had been abused - kicked, not fed (you could see his ribs, he was SOOO thin), thrown over a fence into their pool repeatedly cause it was FUN (grrr) among other abusive things. So even though he's got skin allergies as well as other health issues, he's a total love-bug. Pees wherever he wants, won't potty train.... but his happiness is all that matters. He turned 5 in April of this year.

So that's my crew.
