I saw a German Shepherd the other day and this came back to my mind of something that happened a few years ago.
I was getting ready to go hiking at Tiger Mountain. There are several trails that take off from the same place so there are lots of people coming and going and milling around. I have always used a hiking stick and was walking slowing towards the trail with it.
All of a sudden there was a VERY large tug on my arm. I looked ahead of me and there was this beautiful German Shepherd trotting off with his "prize". He had grabbed the hiking stick from behind me as he went by and was as proud as anything. The owner kept apologizing but I was laughing so hard I couldn't even reply back.
