This CNN story (http://www.cnn.com/2008/LIVING/wayoflife/07/28/mf.mrrogers.neighbor/index.html?iref=mpstoryview) is 15 reasons why Mr. Rogers was the best neighbor.

I didn't know a lot of them, but I agree!

Wow!! I liked the last one where all the cardigans he wore were knitted by his mother.

I knew a few of the fifteen reasons since Mister Rogers Neighborhood was based in Pittsburgh. Also, Michael Keaton was born in Pittsburgh.

What a nice article.:) Mr Rogers was a special man for sure.My children
sat transfixed when his show was on TV.:) I always felt it was a great
experience for them. I loved the way he talked to the children in the audience.

Mr Rogers WAS the best.:)

I loved Mr. Rogers and was sad at his passing. My son (who wouldn't admit watching his show now if you tortured him) was a regular viewer and I even bought Mr. Rogers' album for him when my son was 3 or 4 years old. His favorite song was "When I Grow Up I'm Gonna Marry My Mother" which, obviously, addresses the subject of little boys having a crush on their moms. I loved his show myself and, if I'm channel surfing and happen to come upon his show on PBS reruns, I always stop and watch. Thanx for posting this. It brought back a lot of good memories.

I enjoyed his show almost as much as my kids did. I really liked it when he took the audience on "field trips" to see how things were made. He made every child feel like they were the only one watching and he was talking directly to them. Thanks for the link. :)
