I was watching a show on MSNBC last night - I believe it's called Lock-up. The producers on te show go to prisons and interview the prisoners. Anyway last nite they were at a prison where the inmates have adopted the stray cats that have shown up on prison grounds. I thought it was interesting or even neat. Here you have these hard core prisoners and they are loving these cats and taking good care of them. The narrator of the show said that if one of the prisoners does something to one of the cats, other inmates will attack that person. Amazing, isn't it? It just goes to show you that cats really are good for people.

LOL! Can't help but wonder what they do (on the inside) to animal abusers?

A LOT OF PRISONERS ARE THERE BECAUSE THEY AHVE BEEN ABUSED BY THIER PARENTS, AND SCHOOLS AND THEY LEARN TO BE TOUGH AND COLD AS A DEFENSE.
A PET IS THE ONLY CREATURE WHO LOVES WITHOUT WANTING ANYTHING , AND THEY RESPOND TO THAT QUALITY.
THEY SAY THAT MUSIC SOOTHES THE SAVAGE BEAST, SO DO PET COMPANIONS.:D:love:
