Hope everything's fine with everybody! Thanks for the Happy B-day message!
Elvis, Danny and Yertle have been doing great and send their love!
This weekend, I got a new addition, Timmy the Turtle! LOL!
Timmy belonged to my cousin's girlfriend's 13-year old son. Unfortunately, as sometimes happens with children and pets, he doesn't really want the turtle anymore. They asked if I would take him and I said of course.
I introduced him to the family yesterday, and the cats were like, oh another turtle...yawn. LOL! Yertle, however was very *ahem* excited, to say the very least. Suffice it to say that I am now wondering if Timmy is indeed a Timmy and not a Tammy, because Yertle was trying to, eh, get jiggy with it. LOL.
In any case, I plan to let Timmy (Tammy?) roam, just like Yertle, but I'm going to slowly ease him into it. He used to live in a tank, so I guess I'll let him out a little bit every day until he gets used to it. He's a real cutie!
Anyway, let me go and pretend to do some work. ;)

Oh, what a treat to hear from you Thelma! I got a good laugh when reading what Yertle has been up to! Congrats for getting Timmy (Tammy)! Hope he/she will come around soon!

LOL!!! Thelma is is great to hear from you!! And congratulations on the new addition!! The old Yertle still feels the natural longings, it sounds like!!!! I went through the same questions with Willy, the Cockatiel, who definitely turned out to be Milly Cockatiel!!! Found that out pretty clearly when my Roger became very amorous with her!!! :o

Good to hear from you Thelma:D I had to stay away for a while too but couldn't stay away for long. I should have PM'ed you though. It was a long hot summer for alot of folks I think. Maybe we can meet up in Greenville for Logan's "do". If you haven't heard about it I think it's under "Southeast PetTalk Meeting" or something. Sometime in December.
