I dropped her off at the clinic this morning. They'll call me to pick her up late this afternoon. I miss my puppy:( I hope everything goes smoothly!

As we used to say in our family, "Ginger's getting fixed - poor thing didn't even know she was broken!" We'll be thinking of you today, do well, sweet girl!

Aww, I remember taking Zoee in. I think I called the vet a couple of times asking how she was. Then when she got home she acted like a drunk puppy. LOL
I'll keep Ginger in my thoughts today for a quick and safe healing. :)

She'll be just as happy to see you this afternoon as you will be to see her!

Thanks everybody :)

I forgot to mention that they weighed her this morning! My tiny little puppy is now 40.8 lbs and still growing like a weed!

Keegan spent the night for her spay, good luck with keeping her quiet for the next couple weeks. Keegan was a NUT! I ended up taking her back to the vet a couple days later b/c I thought she'd herniated her stitches but it was just scar tissue from being so active.
Good Luck Ginger!

Good thoughts going out to Ginger! :) I'm sure she'll come through it all with no problems! Just try to keep her quiet and less active for a few days. I know it took my female cats a little longer to heal and feel better from spays than it did the boys.

I remember when Rita got spayed... poor thing was so tired when she came home! It was hard keeping her quiet for the next few days, as well!

Don't worry... pretty Ginger will do just fine! Give her a hug for me when she's home!

She's home! The poor thing came up to me and licked my hand before laying down on the floor right in the middle of the office. On the way home she got sick and vomited neon yellow puke all over the upholstery but it is coming out alright:D
Right now she is laying down in her crate trying to catch some Zzzzzs:)

When I brought her out to the car and Tyler saw her, he got SO excited! "My puppy! My Ginger girl! You're so beautiful! I missed you!"

Aw give her a big hug from me. She will probably be real tired tonight.

Awwwwww I remember on Jamie's spay day I was SO nervous, especially since we had recently been talking about anesthetic deaths in school and how they can occur in a perfectly healthy animal. Needless to say I was really worried... but she came home ok! Took her longer than normal to get the anesthesia out of her system, she wasn't back to her old self for about three or four days. Must say it was rather cute seeing her so out of it, though!!

Glad she's home, safe and sound!!!
