What can I say? Boo continues to improve more and more. I am allowed to brush her anytime I want to now, even her tail. She allows me to clip her nails without even a flinch. She calls me every now and then throughout the day, I think to make sure I am here and comes gets in my lap when I answer her and she sleeps with me every night. She accepts Amy and Samantha on her bed with us so we now all sleep together every night. WHAT an improvement!!

I tell her all the time that I am so glad she has come to live with me and that I am sure Mama is smiling down on both of us because her red headed gal is now so happy. I would have never dreamed she would ever be this happy! She is so use to having such a "hands on" Mommie now that she accepts it without hesitation now. She knows if I walk by her, she will get petted or kissed and she is always ready for it.. It is heaven folks! PURE HEAVEN!

Here is is on "our' bed where she spends less and less time while I am home.

She also likes the kitty bunk bed and gets a nap on there every day as well!

I am soooo happy that Bo has done so well, and just feels so comfortable at your home.I'm sure knowing you as a family member while she was growing up helped a lot...it was just the sharing that was difficult at first and the way you pat her EVERY time you walk by as well as the others lets her know that you love all equally.
That's what I do...every time i pat one cat...I pat every single cat that sees me.
I do this every day/night.Have done this since the beginning.
I think that's what makes them all get along better.

Carla, Nancy said Boo did not remember me from before or when I use to live with them until Mama died. What she does reconize is that my spirit is almost like Mama's. That $30 was the best $30 I ever spent, having Boo read was lifechanging for Boo and the rest of us. I am just thrilled at how happy she is now and that she will live out the rest of her years with me as a HAPPY "gal"!

I am sure that your spirit and family resemblence is the same so it made Bo very comfortable...although I've read a lot of books saying that cats have long and short term memory exactly like humans...not as much in dogs but dogs do have some long term memory...just cats have it like humans.
That's what I've read in many books.
But who knows what's right in some books and wrong...and even people forget after so many years of not seeing someone.

I'm sure Nancy was right on the money about everything, and Bo sees your mom's spirit in you.(cats being more in tune to Spirits,I also read, although so many people now are admitting to seeing spirits nowadays.(on tv shows that i watch, that are Awesome!)
I think your Nancy is a genuine and I'd like to call her sometime for a couple of things on my kittys here:)
I'm so happy for Bo,you and all your kittys:)

Beautiful Boo - what a loving armful you are! I am so glad that you became SUCH a happy kitty - it sure wasn't fun being scared of everyone, was it?

But look at you now - you KNOW you are loved and safe, and even have the confidence and mischief to step on your squeaky toy when she is under the covers (see Samantha thread :D ). Many hugs to you, happy Boo!

IF A CAT IS SURROUNDED WITH LOVE:love:THEN EVENTUALLY THEY WILL REALIZE THAT THERES NO NEED TO FIGHT, THAT THERES PLENTY FOR ALL AND THEN THIER TRUE PURRRSONALITY WILL COME THROUGH.
YOU HAVE DONE WONDERS WITH BOO, AND SHE WILL GET MORE AND MORE LOVABLE:love::love: AS THE YEARS GO BY!!!

Is that bunkbed made especially for pets???

It is not cat furniture but baby furniture, converted into a 3 tier kitty bunk bed.. It is a baby's changing table that I found at Goodwill for $25! When you have cats, you see things in a different way and when I saw that, I thought "KITTY BUNK BED!".. Bought it right on the spot and there hasn't been a day that someone isn't on it, sometimes all three tiers have a kitty on it. Amy gets on the bottom, Samantha on the second and Boo on the top.

Kitty Boo's story is just one of the many miracles I have seen on PT.

If I hadn't experienced it myself, I wouldn't have believed it. Such a drastic change from a unhappy mean bully to a luv bug that is HAPPY!

IF A CAT IS SURROUNDED WITH LOVE THEN EVENTUALLY THEY WILL REALIZE THAT THERES NO NEED TO FIGHT, THAT THERES PLENTY FOR ALL AND THEN THIER TRUE PURRRSONALITY WILL COME THROUGH.

She has realized that there IS enough love for everyone and everyone gets plenty every day. You are right about her true personality coming through. I ask her all the time if she was this darn sweet with Mama. She wasn't but about 3 years old when Mama died and then her life was turned upside down and I don't think she ever had the chance to blossum like she has blossumed here. She was always loved and cared for but I am more hands on all day and grooming, talking to her and loving all day long.

do you mean that wooden table bo's laying on?
that is a great buy you got!
good for you to think about how much use it would get with your cats.

we have found similar things.we have 2 end tables for a couch and we painted it white to match the woodwork we had and put cat beds inside them and they were always being used to kind of hide in their own space.
plus they lay on top,so it's good for 2 cats at a time.

since we moved here a couple months ago(MUCH better place)we have the end tables in a room where all the cat furniture is and their using them without the catbeds.
in the winter i'll probably have to put catbeds in them.it gets super cold
here in the winter being so far north in maine.

Here is a long view of it... A baby changing table with 3 shelves (this was when I first brought it home) . Now a 3 tier kitty bunk bed.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v288/Grammy707/HPIM1775.jpg

I have been looking for some end tables with enclosed bottomes to use to put their beds in.. When I look around the house, it is almost wall to wall cat beds and litter boxes. I am looking for something to put the beds and litter boxes in to hide them. I am thinking about trying to build them myself or have them built.

YOUR house wall wall cat beds and litterboxes????how do you think mine looks?:D
Mike LOVES the baby changing wooden furniture you bought and you read his mind...he wanted a full view...he may look for that same thing or something like it.
It's a beautiful piece of furniture for only 25 dollars Laura.
