We all love getting great deals on things and I hit the jackpot the other day at Stage. I like wearing house dresses around the house and have been needing some new ones really bad. That was on my list of things to do this time home. I remembered Stage had some years ago and stopped by the other day to see if they still carried them and they did. GREAT! Best of all, they were on sale at 30% off of their $30 price tag. The sales girl asked me if I had a Stage credit card and I didn't. I could get another 10% off of my entire purchase if I applied for one so I did and some other deal was she would give me TWO, 25% off coupons on the 2 highest priced items I purchased. Heck! How could I say "NO!" to a deal like that on something I was going to buy anyway! I got myself 3 of them and I LOVE them!

Went to another store the next day and got my sister 2 since she likes wearing them too!

And you walked away from the counter saying 30,10,25,30,10,25,30,10,25?;)

WHen I shop I like to do figure out the costs of stuff when they are on sale. % off, three for a, or the price per unit on the shelf tags.

I had to laugh because I was doing the 'math' on your purchases.....

Laura,

I LOVE wearing those in the summertime. Remember years ago (I'm talking the 60's) they used to call them Mumu's?? Boy am I dating myself.

I guess I'm too young to really understand housedresses, but it is always great to find a good deal!!:D

Housedresses are loungeing clothing. It is decent enough that you can answer the door in it, take out the garbage ect. Not a nightgown or anything like it. It is something you can slip on when you get out of the bath but not ready to get dressed. I have seen people at the grocery store in them but that is nothing that I do in mine. They are just big, loose and COMFORTABLE! (also look nice)

To me these would be MooMoos (muumuus)- sort of a Hawaiian type of dress, but I agree with when and where to wear. Such bright cheery colors are enough to light up your mood.

Goodness they are lovely, but I can barely get out of the shower and get dressed ONCE with two matching shoes! I don't think I could handle a second costume change :D
