I know I'm not on the cat side much, but I had to show off a few pictures of our new cat. We adopted him from the same shelter we got Pip at.

He doesn't have a name yet!! I'm thinking of something to do with books/knowledge though because he loves the bookcase so far. We just brought him home yesterday- he had a big day as he was also neutered before he came home. He sure doesn't act like he had surgery yesterday, though, he's full of energy!

Right now he's staying the guest bedroom and of course all the other pets are curious. I'm optimistic about everything- I already introduced Pip and there was no hissing or growling, only sniffing! He hasn't met Seine yet, but he has sniffed the dogs through a gate.

What about a name like Poe? After Edgar Allen Poe of course or maybe something after a character in a book? Like Finn from Huckleberry Finn, something along those lines :)

Einstein was the name that came to mind for me, too, although Dewey is great. And it makes me want a kitten, too. He's adorable! Love his little paws!

I like Dewey; I also thought of Webster - after the dictionary.

And then there is Andrew Carnegie - he funded 3000 libraries in 47 states, as well as some abroad.

Whatever you name him - he is a doll!!

And don't forget Ernest Hemingway, the author, who loved cats. There are still cats at his place in Key West.
