AuntieIrene is still using her walker to get around and will for quite awhile yet.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/clothesnapper1.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/clothesnapper2.JPGFritz under the dining room table this morning with a pair of my underwear and a sock,he got after being let out of his cage this morning.We had Thunder and Lightning last night ,he got uneasy and was huffing and puffing so put him in his cage.Fritz whined a little but soon quieted down,Taffy peed a couple of times at her house,she doesn't like storms at all.Last night,Fritz had a second treat of Iams bones,then wanted water,had me stand while he drank from the back of the chair,this morning gave it to him under the table he was protecting what he brought up from the laundry room.he has had his toast,was in Mom's chair,probably behind the couch now.Marlene and Larry have gone to the cottage until tomorrow,we are getting a card for dad to put on his stone then going to get my haircut,go to the shopping center in Oshawa then on to Future Shop to get some ink for the printer,Mom to Wal Mart for paper towels and Swiss Chalet for a Chicken Dinner,will bring Fritz home some Chicken.

Did you get that chicken yet, Fritz? I hope you enjoy it. I can't stop thinking of how you grab all the treasures and then guard them:) You are just too much but also, as cute as a button :) I am hoping I will someday be able to visit you and meet you in person, buddy.:)

Sorry about those thunderstorms. We aren't having any right now for the first day this week. Delilah is actually in her little bed by the computer. Not in the bathroom, shaking. Poor Fritz and Taffy.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/foodbeg.JPGFritz begging for supper from Mom last night.had Potato Salad,Macaroni Salad and Kam.Fritz had some,had Vanilla Cream for dessert.Had a couple of thunderstorms Sunday night,fritz barked at it,he was down her and doesn't hear it as much,spent time under the little couch,under the coffee table and finally on my lap for awhile for protection until it was over..Mom had Pringles chips,he had some of that,too lazy to get off the coffee table for it so I picked it up him.got his dish of water for him,he had that.When it came time for bed,didn't want to go out,was wet,Mom got him out the door with a little push.Fritz curled up on the bedspread all night,got a little after I did this morning,was in Mom;s chair,had breakfast from me,went out,had a drink and sat with me in the chair,didn't want Mom's,went to the corner and curled up.Fritz finished his supper ,has been out again and now in the window.Supposed to get another Thunderstorm today, chance of rain every day this week,in the 60's not as windy and storm as last night,trees were down in Toronto,ours are fine including the Norway Dad I planted 2 years ago.We put a card on Dad's stone for Father's Day,all our names on it including Fritz dTaffy.Mom took Marlene to see the stone last night when the weather was bad,hadn't been there yet,were late getting back from the cottage,felt bad she hadn't.The light we put there lit up when they got there so that was nice.

Great pictures, Barry!! I love the pics of you and Mom, Fritzie!! You and Mom have the prettiest hairdos. I love Mom's hair color. Sorry about the storms. Delilah already went through one round earlier and she heard thunder again. She's hiding in the bathroom now. It will be like this all summer.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/cozyspread.JPGFritz sleeping on my bedspread this morning.Last night,Fritz spent over an hour under the big couch down here,finally got out,needed a drink,went out, had a play with a water bottle, snoozed in my chair then under the little couch.He went to bed after Mom did around 10:30,then I came up around 5 to 11,went to my bedroom and turned on the light,there Fritz was snoozing on the bedspread.Had to go out,had toast and cereal,snoozed in Mom's chair and in the window,now behind the couch,Taffy coming here around Noon hour when everyone else goes to the Anniversary party.to be Thunderstorms this afternoon ,Taffy hates those.Irene called last night,doing great,walking without the walker and using a cane so maybe soon they can come this way for a visit.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/cozyheady.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/cozyfella1.JPGFritz Tuesday afternoon,his head on the blanket waiting for Mom to come back from hospital gift shop and this morning sitting in my chair in the living room,wanting cereal and toast.Last night night,we had Coffee cake that Marlene sent home with me,Fritz cleaned the plates,he wanted water,took it to him on the table.he wanted a water bottle,the one I was drinking from not the old one,he did play with the old then with the new one after I was finished with it.Had a snooze under both couches,went up to my bedroom,was laying on the bedspread then got up,looked like he was going to Mom when I got up to go get him and he took off to the living room,got a piece wiener then took him to his own bed, where whined a little.When I let him out,he grabbed a sock from the laundry basket and under the couch he went,got it from,growled a bit.Not long ago, he barked and jumped down from the window, caught a toe nail in the drapes behind him in the picture,Mom wasn't happy with him,had to fix,already had it fixed once .I t didn't last long Mom let him finish a Ice cream cone she had.Had a Salami sandwich with me,he greeted Marlene when she came to pick up Strawberries that Mom went and picked today..Mom going with friends tonight to a Meat Pie and potatoes dinner.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/lazyfellas.JPGFritz Wednesday afternoon snoozing with his Monkey.He was bad yesterday, he got outside on the patio with out a leash, a friend of Mom's had come,the gate didn't close and out he went,didn't have time to get me, got a neighbor and he wet to him,he had gone to the other side of the street to another neighbor's.had Pizza from me for supper,had some Iams bones last night,had his water delivered to him on the table,snoozed under both couches.he first went to my bedroom.then sat at the doorway,so put him downstairs,didn't say a word.he had his breakfast,he was out on a leash when my Uncle was here to fix the downspout,it was lose,cut a neighbor's lawn.Warm and humid here,in the 80's feeling like 97,chance of rain and thunderstorms.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/cozyfella2.JPGFritz having a cozy nap in the window this morning.We had a downpour yesterday,had some thunder,Mom gave Fritz some Gravol to settle him,he slept a lot down on the coffee table downstairs,couldn't hear the storm down here.Last night,had a little Ice Cream in a dish,finished my bowl of Strawberries and Ice cream,he wanted water,delivered it to him,was up with Mom in her chair and under the couches.He was sleeping on the bedspread,then around 1 in the morning heard a noise and growled,was lying the doorway of my bedroom,moved him back to the bedspread and then he was lying on the carpet next to the bed ,maybe cooler.he got me up early around 10 to 6 and got in the window.Fritz then had cereal and toast,now in the living room with Mom.Muggy again today,73 right now,going to in the 80's feeling like the 90's and thundershowers overnight into Saturday.Raining right now in Toronto,might be headed this way.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/foodwait.JPGFritz waiting for breakfast to be brought to him.the toast was next to my cereal bowl,wanted the toast moved so he could get at it better,the cereal bowl stayed where it was.A little later,he was under the dining room table,wanted water brought to him,I think he just did that to Mom a few minutes ago.Got a call from his Aunties,they are coming on Saturday for a visit,Fritz will have to be careful near Irene.Last night,slept in his cage, fireworks again,louder than ever,went on to midnight,tonight and overnight Thunderstorms,so he will back in his cage tonight.Has barked a the paper man and the mailman,now being quiet laying down somewhere.Not sure what the round blob is in the picture,not the camera and no marks on the lenses,can't figure it out.

Fritz woke me up at 25 to 6 this morning,a person was walking a Husky and he doesn't like those dogs,there is one at the corner just north of us,probably is that one.he had been out side already,probably now behind the couch.Ha took the TV remote,got a piece of Salami to ge it,yesterday he had one of Mom's good shoes he found in her bedroom,got a wiener to get it from him.Today he goes to the groomer for 10,will look rather handsome,probably will see the cats and the groomer's Collies.Thanks cassiesmom for the comment on how our lawn and garden looks,Dad would like it,especially the flowers,namely the geraniums.

He's really cute....he reminds me of the dog my parents had. She was 3/4 poodle, and a 1/4 cocker, but she looked a lot like fritz when she wasn't clipped. I like the name Fritz, too. When I was a kid, we had a standard dachshund named Fritz. Really enjoy the updates on Fritz's life and his love for his family.

Poor little guy, Fritzie. You're so upset with the bad noises that you're confused as to where the bathroom is. Delilah gets the same way. Barry, she's like that most of the summer. I had to resort to putting puppy pads out in all the rooms. I can't force her to go out because she's terrified. She goes through quite a few pads but that's okay. She uses them like she's supposed to.

Hopefully the awful weather isn`t headed your way, because we`re having terrible thunderstorms and rain here all week! But some pictures of your darling Fritz are making this storm more enjoyable for me. :D Poor Fritz, thunderstorms definitely are scary. My Bandit will hide under the bed until the storms let up, so you`re not the only one who gets all riled up because of them. Hopefully Fritz will have a nice, storm-free, relaxing day! :)

Barry, my sister just told me about the fabric softener sheet. She said that static electricity is causing the problem and not the noise. All loud noises scare Delilah so I don't know about the theory. Anyway.....I tried it with her last week. She seemed to calm down right away. It didn't stop the problem but she seemed calmer. I've been spraying lavender spray close to her bathroom spot also. That seems to help a little. I'll try anything.

I call the fabric softener sheets, her petting cloth. She seems to like that.:)

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/chairsleep1.JPGFritz sleeping in Mom's chair this morning.We had a bad thunderstorm here last night,wind,sheet lightning,lightning bolts,really lit it up her and noisy.and rain also.Fritz was under the couch and came out,I grabbed him,Mom rubbed the Bounce fabric sheet on him ,put him the cage,he starts barking and scratching at the gate,he doesn't like to be in there,but had no choice.I went down and got him this morning,was putting the leash on,he wanted to go back down I had to pull him to get him out the door,he doesn't seem to ask to go out anymore,have grab him somehow and or get a piece of meat.He didn't come off the coffee table for his Ice,cream,put the bowl on the table,had to be careful it didn't fall off.later on after he was up,he was biting his paw,told him to stop,he took off to the back of the couch.He was beside the couch when i went up a few minutes ago.

Daisy and Delilah have had an exciting morning, chasing the neighbors loose dogs around. When I say chasing I mean running through the house and out to the porch. The neighbor lets her two puppies out in the morning and goes back to bed.:mad: I'm going to pay her a visit. Poor Delilah will be exhausted when the storms start today. Maybe it won't bother her.

We had a thunderstorm go through between 5 and 6 yesterday,Fritz got all uptight barking ,came down here and when he heard thunder he come upstairs,he was on my lap then wanted off,he left a little boo boo downstairs.last night as we were about to go to bed,I was in the bedroom when a big crack thunder came,scared the pants or shorts off of me,Fritz was still ,he came up,he was pacing back and forth from the living room to my bedroom,Mom gave him some liquid Gravol.that helped,he had a quiet sleep, he was jumping up to the window,was too close,didn't make it and ran behind the couch where he is now.Mom is going to the cottage from Friday til Sunday,Larry will be picking her up,Fritz will stay here,there is a craft show up there Saturday,not my thing.A week Saturday going to visit the Aunties,Fritz will going to the groomers on Wednesday next week so he will look nice.Irene had a Cat Scan yesterday,a little scar tissue,nothing major, goes back in December.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/chairsnooze3.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/ledgesnooze.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/airyfella.JPGFritz in Mom's chair this morning,sleeping in the window and later on flipped over on the couch.Fritz was having a good sleep until 10 to 4 this morning when thunder started rolling and he took off to the dining room.I gave him as piece of Salami and took him back to bed ,didn't stay,was in the doorway of Mom's bedroom.I took him down to his bed was whining and scratching,quieted down.I thought everything was fine when more thunder rolled and heard him barking out in the living room,he had got out of the cage.I gave him another piece of Salami,Mom came with me and we put him back,scratching and whining.he was quiet after that.He left a boo boo after I got up this morning,had cereal and toast,snoozed a bit,had thunder during the day,whined and barked,got some Gravol.had some Salami Sandwich with me for lunch,Grilled Cheese and some Black cherry Ice cream for dessert.Tonight,has had water,some Cesar treats,is now under the couch.

Awwwww!!! Look at the fluffy boy. You cutie pie. Your new bandana is so stunning on you. I'm so impressed. Do you like salami, Fritz? Delilah gets turkey lunchmeat with her pill. She hasn't taken so many pills this year because of the lavendar I spray and she feels safe in the bathroom. There are no windows so she stays in there where it's quiet. I've put lavendar all over the house. The plug-ins, automatic sprayers, room freshener, candles. Everything. It stormed her in the early morning for the last two days and I think we have hurricane Fay possibly coming this way. Maybe Delilah is finally getting used to the weather. Be a good boy Fritz. Are you going to the Aunties? You look so fluffy and cute, Auntie Bev and Irene will want you to stay with them:)

Barry, Fritz's groomer does a beautiful job on him. He always looks nice but after the groomer, he looks like a show Bichon. He is so handsome. I love his upside down pictures.

Oh how wonderful, Fritz!! You had a great visit with the Aunties. The Aunties are Pet Talk stars like you are. I know they were very happy to see you all fixed up and wearing a new purple bandana. Had Salami sandwich with me for lunch,we had Pork Chops,fried potatoes and Carrots for supper ,he had a little,had cake and Black Cherry Ice Cream for dessert.Had his Monkey play after, is now under the big couch down here.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/ledgesnooze4.JPGFritz in the front room window this morning.He was in no hurry to come up last night,tried getting him off the coffee table.got him off but he was growling and he layed down behind the little couch and came up after a few minutes.Fritz didn't stay 5 minutes then went on Mom's bed and slept.It was after 6 this morning I saw him on the mat inside my bedroom then he went out to the living doom and was in the window.He saw the Husky up the street being walked by and he doesn't like those dogs he barked,I put him out the back door and still barked.We had to go get a can of gas for the lawn mower and he was in the window then and was in a corner of the kitchen when we got back and is still there,hasn't moved,hope is feeling okay.Thunderstorms possible overnight and tomorrow also,today to be hot and humid,same as yesterday feeling like 95 but by next week to bee 70-72 Monday to Wednesday.Mom goes to the wedding today,hope Fritz behaves himself.She is going with my Aunt and Uncle just down the street from us.
