A little while ago I went to our local zoo. Craig from PT went too, I think his pictures turned out better so hopefully he'll post them. Those are some really GREAT snappies!
Most of them appear to be so close that you could have touched the critter
with the hand not holding the camera.

The one with the reflection of you shooting the camera is an interesting study.

I'm glad that everyone else gets to enjoy a little bit of this zoo. They really are fun places to go and there's no lack of photo opportunities.


Those are wonderful photos! I have to ask, what lens did you use? The quality is just amazing! :D

The lens that I shot all of my pictures with is a Pentax 50-200/4.0-5.6 DA. I think I may be alone in the Pentax DSLR group, but the body I use is a K10D.
