This one was just down the road from my house so I took Dasher with me. I really like that pic. We both look so happy.

Funny story about this one. It was on an overpass and there's some type of factory by it. I wasn't aware when I was taking the pics but after the first couple, I heard applause. Two guys were watching me pose. One was in a big construction type thing and another standing by it. If I'd thought of it, I would have bowed or gotten their pic. I just laughed a lot and finished taking the rest. Here's the chair. Someone's forgotten kitchen one.

Now this next one was kind of yucky. If I hadn't have had a tarp to put over it, I wouldn't have done it. The chair thing is becoming kind of a joke now so whenever I see one, I'm going to do a self portrait. Maybe I can make a chair book and sell it. Who knows? I just know it's a lot of fun.

That is a strange hobby, but very interesting. I surely could see it as a book!

How do you walk in those shoes? I'd fall off them in a heartbeat!

Great chair pictures, keep going, and make sure you keep hi-res versions of each photo. Take notes of the date, time and place, and whatever interesting was around - and that'll make the "book" more interesting!

Is there some magnetic force where you live that attracts abandoned chairs? I can honestly say I have never once seen a chair just sitting beside a road here, ever. LOL

I haven't seen one around here either but that's what makes a good
photographer. They see interesting subjects in everyday life that most
people don't notice at all.:)

Actually, it's easier to walk in them than I thought it would be. I do have to be careful, though. And that's a good idea about making notes. I'vve made them here but I guess I need them on paper or my computer.

oh my gosh I see them all the time here, haha. That's probably cause the St Louis area is a pretty trashy place though =/

I agree!

I've NEVER seen a chair by the freeway anywhere in Ohio.. lol

Val, I really like your pictures, just very different and "unique".. go for the book idea - that is pretty cool.
