I was wondering if anyone knew how to say the word "dog" or "I love my dog" in other languages besides English. I think that it would be interesting to see.

In Japanese the word for dog is "Inu" I don't know what the wording for the phrase would be though because they have different words for love depending on the type of love.

I love my dog (masculine) - mi voglio bene il mio cane
I love my dog (feminine) - mi voglio bene la mia cagna
That's fun, in that if someone said that, you would then know whether it was a boy dog or girl dog!

Strange that in Spanish it's perro, whether it's a girl or a boy. In Danish it's "hund" like in German.
