View Full Version : Cat Lover Bridal Shower

As you know, I am getting married in two weeks. Last Saturday I got a surprise bridal shower at my friends' house, and I could not have had a better one. As we were getting ready to leave, the stray kitty momma that my friends are fostering started having her kittens - and she had 5 adorable little ones. We watched them being born - actually, just three, we saw the other two in the morning. Four girls, one of which is a striking calico, and one orange boy.

Could I have asked for a better party?

I'll try to get pictures this weekend.

We were giving a baby shower about 13 years ago at my house. A kitten had showed up a few days earlier. We gave the kitten away as a door prize. Our neighbor was the winner and she actually took it! Her husband still mentions that to us.

Now that is party entertainment I have not heard of before! And to think how often people ask for suggestions on shower ideas....;);)

Oh, I wish I could take them. There is one very colourfull calico that I'd love to take, but we already have three cats and we can't have too many pets where we're going next. I think the limit is actually two cats, but I think we should be ok.

The momma kitty is very very pretty - she has these round green eyes :love:

I saw one time in my life how kittens were born- I will never forget it. Cats are such wonderful moms:)

Will you be having bridesmaids? I think a kitten is the perfect thank you gift for your bridesmaids! :D

How wonderful.:) When I was a young girl I got to watch our family cat having kittens and it was a very educational experience. Our dog was also nearby and she helped clean the kittens so they actually had 2 moms.:)
