Oh Velvet, the first thing I thought when I saw your beautiful face today was BRIGHT EYES!!! It's funny because the movie on TV now is the Shirley Temple one called, guess what? I couldn't agree more!! I too had a black cat named Magic and it appeared as though his beginnings were very harsh. He became the dearest pet you could ever imagine and I had him with me for over 13 years.

It makes perfect sense to me that Velvet would become your beloved pet.

And now, today Velvet is so very honored as our Cat of the Day!
