I was inspired by a thread on another forum. Here are a few of the cars I'd love to have. Some get only about 15 mpg though so they are not practical.

Not very efficient but my dad rented one once, it was pure luxury inside plus the added bonus of being able to haul stuff.

Pontiac Aztek

Now, I want to see your dream cars!

Oooooh. Fun thread!
I've always like the Aztek's too, for some reason. Here's mine! (in the colors I'd want!)

Can't disagree with any of the ones you posted!!!

I heard this week n Nascar Performance on Sirius, that next week, they are releaseing details how you can get a former Nascar that has bee made street legal. That is currently my dream car!!!

Otherwise, I am pretty luck to have a 2007 Dodge Nitro and a 1997 Pontiac Firebird. But if I were going to have a garge full....I would like to have big truck (Ford F150, Dodge Ramm 1500 something along those lines), an older and a newer Trans Am (a late 70's a 2000 something), and a new Dodge Challenger.

I have always wanted a Lamborghini. Almost any one will do, I'm not picky as to the model, lol. Of course, then I'd need to move near the Autobahn to drive the darn thing!

I'm starting to look for a new car since a sedan just isn't cutting it anymore. Do you know how hard it is to fit a set of weave poles, 3 jumps and a teeter in a sedan WITH a full grown malinois? It's not easy! LOL

These aren't exactly dream cars, since my dream car would be a Lambo.. but that ain't happening! So here are my more realistic dream cars =p

2008 Dodge Caravan (absolutely do not want 2007 or older. I like the square flat rear of this year's model)

Honda Ridgeline.. I LOVE Hondas haha
http://www.newcars.org/photos/RIDGELI7_450_225.jpg

Chevy Avalanche. This is probably my favorite one. I like that the bed opens from the back seat so it's like a Suburban and acts as one big SUV. I prefer that the dogs are in the same part of the car as me, versus in the bed of the truck (with canopy of course). I like that I can also use it as a regular ol' pickup when I need to haul agility equipment around.

I have several picks, though you're going to have to find pics of them yourself. (I don't know bb code well enough).....

Lamborghini Miura, 1967 Mercury Cougar, Ford GT40 (The original, not the new ford GT), a WW2 vintage Willy's Jeep, 1980-85 F-150, and a nod to the 21st century, a Saleen GT.

Richard, only one problem with the Vector, in any engine trim.....

Are they actually going to build more than a test mule or two between owners?

Nothing wrong with TUNDRA. That’s my wife truck, her was the first delivered in N.J. The build code on the thing is 004. It has over 140K on it and still rides and sounds like new. The only problem we've ever had is on the highway, you have too used the cruise control, if you don't the next time you look at the Speedo it is well over 100! The mileage is great over 20+ even with a trailer.
Me I drive a Miata great fun car you can sling through turns. My favorite that I have owned is an Opal GT, the favorite that I have driven is a toss up between an original AC Cobra my friend owns or the 67 Ferrari Testarosa.
The Dream car would have to be a Selin S-7.

DJFyrewolf36 here is a tidbit of info on Lamborghini. They have been bankrupt or near bankruptcy many time in their history. In 1997 they sold only 264 cars in their entire lineup. Audi took over in 1997 and they have increased sales every year and will sell 2000+ cars world wide in 2010. The Audi R8 and the Lambo share powerplants. They are still made in Italy but are managed by Germans and are powered by German engines.

In the older sport cars this was my favorite. Sunbeam Tiger. I owned one just
like this one, Mine had the ford 289 instead of the 260. love to have it back.

I had a red one. I think the gearboxes in them are a bit suspect, as I had trouble with mine to. Not in low gear tho....mine wouldn't stay in top gear, it kept jumping out every time I accelerated. I ended up improvising, and had a little leather strap that I screwed into just behind the gear lever, and everytime I'd go into top gear, I would slip the little strap over the stick to hold it in place....I was a master at it after a while, never even had to look down at it.

Yeah I remember them, they were a little bigger than the Austin Healey Sprite with the MG body. Never drove one, but seen a few of them on the road.
One of my favourites was the Subaru Vortex, I had one of those for about 8 years, bought it in 1999, and sold it only a few years ago now. I loved that car, so smooth to drive, and the turbo was unreal.....really made them move along. And the air suspension....pure magic.

If I could choose two cars, it would be a Range Rover and an Austin Healey. I quite like the Mini Cooper too.

My present car is a 2002 Audi A4 Avant. I love this car because it handles like a sports car and is great to drive in bad weather because of the all wheel drive.
Mine is just like this one except the wheels. I like my wheels better. Koko likes it because when we are in the PARK she can ride with her head out the sun rool:D

My next car will probably be another Audi. i am leaning toward an A3 TDI。I had a VW Jetta TDI that I really liked so an AUDI TDI will be even better.

Kokopup, I like your present car better than the "next" one. ;) Audi's are good solid cars!

That's the reason why the Vortex was so good to drive, it was AWD to.
Never leaned much towards the Audi's.....don't know why, maybe it's the body shapes that they come out with that puts me off. We all have our favourites tho. The new Holden Calais, and the Holden Statesman are good cars, if I get another newy soon, it'll probably be one of those.

But at the moment we are sticking to what we have, as it only takes 10 minutes in any direction to reach the boundaries of the city I live in. (No such thing as peak hour traffic here). The wife has a new Hyundai, the daughter a Ford hatchback, and I still drive my Ford utility...three vehicles in this place is overkill....LOLOL.

I have owned more cars than I can count and sold or traded them all without hesitation. I am so attached to this car I think I will keep it even if I buy an A3. My wife has a new Mazda6 Sportwagan and my 8 year old Audi is more solid an runs better than her new car. When I close my doors all you hear is a solid thump. When I close her doors I always feel like it didn't close all the way. When it is bad weather her car is all over the road and my Audi is straight arrow and solid. There is no comparing the two cars.

We have the Largest most automated Hyundai plant in the world just down the road from here. I'm not sure what they make there. They just announced a plant expansion to set up a new model. The Holden is imported to the US and rebadged as a Pontiac G8. Since Pontiac was Killed by GM the Holden will be imported for Police duty only. I'm not sure what they will call it.

I love German cars...most euro cars are nice really. I haven't been impressed with US super car offerings such as the Viper or Ford GT (the GT is way better than the Viper handling wise IMO) but they are nowhere near the handling level of euro super cars.

Your car called the Vortex in Australia and NZ was the XT for the opposed 4 and the XT6 for the Opposed 6. Both cars were turbocharged. Nice symmetrical AWD system. It is different in the Audi & VW since Symmetrical is mostly Mechanical in nature while the Audi AWD system has 7 computers controlling the system. There is something to be said for simplicity since I messed mine up once by removing the cover from my cabin filter and not replacing properly. It had a heavy rain and the lose cabin filter cover allowed water to flood my floorboard. Guess where one of my computers was. Right under my passenger floor carpet. I was able to find one on ebay for $200 other wise $1400 from dealer.
It was in limp mode so I just had to wait until the new unit came.

Subaru never actually made many of the Vortex, so they are a pretty rare car here. I read that it was Subaru's first go at a sports coupe, so they put everything into them. They had every feature inbuilt into them.
AND, what may interest you, was the inside dashboard and controls...evidently Subura at the time were making aeroplanes, and the dash of the Vortex was very similar to look at, and built along those lines.
But I loved that car to bits. I wish now I never sold it.

How about an Audi R8 Spyder It has a V10 525 HP Lamborghini powerplant

Audi owns Lamborghini so the Lamb engine is really an Audi (GERMAN) engine.

This is an old thread but I started it so there. :p
I want this:
http://i102.photobucket.com/albums/m94/Oslobunn/audi-quattro-1989.jpg
1989 Audi Quattro! What they used in Ashes to Ashes.

But of course I'll be settling for much less. I'm just hopeful they'll finance me for the 2000 Saturn SC 3 door I'm going to look at on Saturday.

Ford Raptor - gets about 12 MPG but I still have my little elantra which I would use, this is just a dream.

http://i547.photobucket.com/albums/hh455/thedoorsdc/fj-cruiser_6.jpg

FJ Cruiser - except I want the blue one, my uncle has one and I love it!

http://i1081.photobucket.com/albums/j342/Berk-Motors/2004%20Jeep%20Wrangler%20Sport%2090k/add100c8.jpg

Jeep Wrangler - preferably of the YJ variety, and lifted.

I have a thing for trucks.

My first car was the Saturn CS 3 door, in fact my sister has it now for good. Man the things I did to that poor car...but anyway, yeah it's a very cute little car! Ours is 2002, red, 3-door. You'll get alot of comments on having a 3-door car. The only thing I didn't like about it was how sucky the radio was, but I think all saturns have crappy radios :( I'm also not a low car person, and it was very very low.

Puckstop I need a car to get to my barn to see my horse! And my family who live 270 miles away from me!

And Alyssa I'm really hoping they finance me or I'll have to scrape together more cash very quickly and buy a car with cash, what I had to do last time with my junker Mazda. The only way I could see them denying me is my income, even though I can afford payments, the car is only $3k.

And I used to walk by a poster of the FJ Cruiser concept that was hanging up in the shop hallway of my high school, I so wanted one, until I found out the gas mileage!

Most definitely the Audi R8. I'm in LOVE with this car!

I also love the BMW X6

AND the Nissan GTR. Pretty much the most amazing car out there (performance wise) for a price much lower than it's competitors.

Slightly more reasonable dream car? LOL That would be the Audi Q5. HOPING one day I will be able to afford it after college. Although that probably won't happen either lol.

I've been on and off the phone with the dealership all day, them losing my credit application, running a new one without taking into account which vehicle I wanted and how much cash I have to put down, finally telling me they couldn't finance me unless I chose one under $4k even though I said I wanted one listed at $3k, and then it was "Oh you wanted that one? I'm 90% sure it sold today!" Then telling me they'd probably be able to do something, just need a car to tell the bank, they'd call tomorrow blah blah blah... I told them don't bother they're an hour away, I'm not having a friend drive me all that way for whatever else they have when there are other dealerships much closer. I just wanted the Saturn because of the fuel economy and compactness.

So hopefully whatever happens tomorrow I'll be driving my own vehicle home. Because I can't take much more of this stress.
