Ginger's Mom

I just e-mailed them. I don't know how well he will do with a 37 pound Eskie bouncing around him and I don't know if they will adopt out so far away. But hopefully we will find a way to keep this little cutie from being put down.

Oh good!! Let me know if you need help with transport or adoption, because I know a couple of people down that way.

Joyce, I don't know how he would be around a 50 lb. standard poodle (that is one small little dog) but I will gladly help you out in this. This dog just should not be put down. Let me know if you need any help.

Looks like a poodle with some terrier in it. What a cute litle thing, very sad about his back. Those big round eyes say it all.

I received a very nice, pleasant reply from the spca. They indicated that Mr. Tootles has two families in their area who are interested in adopting him and were hoping that he would be placed by the end of the weekend. They also indicated that they thought that the size difference between him and Ginger may have been a bit overwhelming for him. So I think Mr. Tootles will be fine, it sounds like he has very nice, caring people looking for just the right home for him.

Good news! A forever home is much better than being fostered and it sounds like he may have just found one. :) Of course if I ever fostered a dog it would probably become a forever dog. :p
