Sony Walkman question

I have a Sony Walkman that I received as a gift. I have a question. Can I listen to it without the headphones? or is the headphones always required to listen to the music?

The only way I can hear the music is to put the headphones on. I was wondering if there was an option of some sort.

You can get speakers to plug into the headphone jack :).

Go to Wal-Mart, they're really cheap there. I used to use speakers on my Walkman when I was a work so I could listen to my own CD's.

Yup, I got a small set of speakers too, only wanted to hear it near my desk not
