4 Dog Mother

I have a couple of ornamental ponds in my back yard. Last year I had a bunch of toads "mating" in it. They make a loud noise when they are calling to each other. This year they came back to mate. Last year I never noticed tadpoles. Yesterday Carl and I were putting the pumps in to start the waterfalls again and look what we found.

They are thousands of them! They are everywhere you look in the pond. We have goldfish in the pond so I am sure some of them will be eaten but even if an 1/8 of them live there are going to be a lot of toads around our house. It is so hard to believe. And I wonder how I missed the tadpoles last year. It will be fun to watch them grow into toads too.
