I should introduce myself

I've posted in the dog forum as I have a border collie mix. The cats usually wind up in a pic occasionally with Mickey but I had just posted a thread about Charlie, Cat of the Day (http://catoftheday.com/archive/2005/January/03.html) and decided my two felines needed a formal intro of their own. Without further ado:

Missy
She came to live with me when she was about 1 and 1/2 years old from some friends and is now about 6. She's very sweet, a major drooler when she's being scratched, very chatty and has fur like silk.

Charlie
He is my handsome PAWS boy and as mentioned above, already honored as Cat of the Day in 2005. He is very sociable, full or purrsonality and follows me around exactly the same as my dog, Mickey, does.

What gorgeous kitties! Does Charlie have some Maine Coon in him?

I don't know what his makeup is. PAWS estimated he was about 4 or 5 when I got him and didn't really know much more themselves. He obviously had been treated well as he was in good shape physically except for a cold and emotionally as is VERY outgoing and friendly with everyone. He's a hefty 15 pounds (16 in the winter), orange with a face like a lion and pretty orange bloomers...and very much a character and a huge part of life 8 years down the road.

WOW, Charlie is certainly one hunk of a boy. I just love his orangie markings.
